Situated in a prime location within the city walls with just a short stroll to the heart of city centre and all the historic streets, buildings and sights York has to offer together with a multitude of restaurants, coffee shops, cafe's and pubs. Free off street private parking is subject to availability.
The space:
Located in the heart of this historic city it's an ideal base to explore the city and the county. The apartment has separate kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom, a small home from home. We appreciate all the great reviews from guests who have stayed with us and hope these speak for themselves.
Guest access:
The apartment is one of 17 residential properties in Queens Staith Mews, parking is within the central courtyard. Access to this first floor apartment is via two flights of stairs, one outside and one inside, allowing you to come and go as you please.
Other things to note:
The apartment has free WiFi and a 40in Smart TV, iPlayer, ITVHub etc. The bed is King size with full Memory Foam mattress. Parking is off street, within the Mews and only a few yards from the apartment. (Subject to availability, un-allocated and on a first come basis)

We are a couple who live just outside the city we love to travel and we love to share our beautiful city with our guests. We have been hosting for over ten years on other platforms so are new to VRBO.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
York is exceptional in its history, with buildings/architecture from Roman, Saxon, Norman, and more. York Minster (Cathedral) is astonishing and a must see. You can walk in the footsteps of roman guards when walking round the city walls or visiting the Jorvik Viking Centre (book in advance), walk town the Shambles, the most visited street in the city. York is widely reported to be the most haunted city in Europe so take ghost tour or a true history tour or a blood curdling tour with Mad Alice. After all that excitement pick from the hundreds of restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs to eat and drink before wandering back to your cosy apartment and a good nights sleep.
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
The apartment is a very short walk from everything, located in a residential area well within the city walls. the railway station is less than ten min walk away, the centre of York is a five min stroll. Parking in the city can be very difficult and expensive so free parking just yards from the apartment is a real bonus.
