Maison de 4 chambres avec sous-sol complet avec bar, table de billard et table de ping-pong. 4 chambres, 3 salles de bain complètes. 1 place de garage et 2 places extérieures. Cuisine complète avec tous les ustensiles et ustensiles de cuisine. Salle à manger qui s'ouvre sur le patio. Terrasse de jardin entièrement rénovée avec glacière, barbecue Weber, tables, chaises, bel aménagement paysager, etc.

Nice and roomy home. We did not get to enjoy the pool (not in season) but we did enjoy sitting out on the patio on a cool evening.

Quiet, well appointed, charming, and comfortable

This spacious, well-appointed property is located in a quiet neighborhood. We had plenty of room for several adults to stay comfortably to attend SIU winter graduation. We had everything we needed to cook meals at home, and I would highly recommend this rental.

Perfect for families!

This property was perfect for visiting during Thanksgiving week. The house was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable! The teenagers loved the ping pong table and pool table most of all. And the kitchen was very well stocked with more than enough kitchen essentials to prep some dishes for Thanksgiving dinner. The only disappointment was that we could not enjoy the outdoor patio and swimming pool. We will definitely be making a return trip during the summer months. This house and property was comfortable and very enjoyable for our family of 6!

Great Getaway

This was our second time staying here. The property is exactly as advertised and the perfect get away for a family that included 3 generations. The house was big enough that everyone had their space if needed and we loved sitting out by the pool. Also the ping pong table was a hit for us.

Reunion Getaway

This house was perfect for three (or four) couples. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the house was beautifully decorated. Unfortunately the pool was already closed and it rained the whole weekend. But we still had a great time playing games and watching football. The neighborhood is very quiet. I would definitely recommend this property and look forward to visiting again.

Excellent property, great for large groups. Easy to access hiking and other outdoors activities around the Shawnee National Forest and other parks.

Great Place

The house was perfect for our needs. We loved the pool and the kids enjoyed the many games that were available to play. The property was clean and comfortable. We came to the area to visit family and definitely plan on booking this property again for future visits.

This is a beautiful house. There are areas where repair is needed, however it did not negatively affect our stay on any way. Clean, quiet, excellent location and most of all, we were incredibly comfortable.

Great pool and neighborhood

Loved the inground pool and socializing on the patio. The outside needed some bee treatment . My daughter got stung coming in the front door. There were bees nest all around the door. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Relaxing!

We had a blast! This was our 2nd or 3rd time staying and we have so much fun. I deducted 1 star for cleanliness only because there was standing water in a fountain which attracts mosquitos, otherwise, everything was fantastic!

This is a very relaxing comfortable home. The outside pergola/backyard/pool area is fantastic. This was our third year there and we are going back next year. That is the best endorsement.

Beautiful and quiet location!

Neighborhood and home were lovely and really enjoyed the pool. Home and pool need a little TLC (which signs assured us would be coming soon). I would suggest new mattresses in all but the master bedroom and perhaps a handrail for the pool stairs. Overall we had a great time and would return for another visit!

Easter weekend

The home is located very close to SIU campus in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It is a good size, and has a lot of potential. We loved the basement. It was great for hanging out but evidently had not been swept or mopped since the previous guests and we would have been more comfortable if the soiled couch was not there. While the house has been updated, it is in need of many repairs and a very deep cleaning. It did not appear to have been swept or mopped between guests. The bathroom mats and mat leading to the outside were dirty, and matted down. The floors upstairs have started to be replaced, but the remaining carpet in the upstairs bedrooms are stained with what appears to be dog urine. (It is a pet friendly home.) Caulking throughout the bathrooms is dirty and the rusty vents do not present a clean environment. The back bedroom ceiling has major cracks and staining on the ceiling. The kitchen cabinets are filthy. The windows and screens throughout the home were filled with bugs, a coat of dirt, and spider eggs. We rented this house to host an Easter breakfast and spend time with our children over the holiday weekend. The weather was not suitable for sitting outside but if it were, we would not have been able to because the back patio was loaded with debris and the furniture was dirty and damaged. The umbrella was mildew stained. We had booked this home for parents weekend in October but after this visit, it has been canceled.

Girls’ Trip

We had a great time on our short girls’ getaway. The house was so nice, but is in need of some updating and touch up paint here and there. The pool also needs a little makeover, but it was still refreshing and enjoyable with the high temps. We look forward to returning for another quick getaway and seeing some of the updates.

Relaxing

Needs a little TLC, but fit our needs. The kitchen update will certainly improve the place. Kids loved the pool and we spent most of our time outside. Mosquitoes were fierce. We made great memories with our family from Ohio and Kansas meeting in the middle.

Graduation weekend

Spent the weekend in Carbondale to attend our son’s graduation from SIU. This home is conveniently located. We had plenty of room to spread out and all the amenities we needed. Our sons especially enjoyed playing pool and ping pong in the basement bar/game room. We would love to come back when the pool is open…the back patio and pool looked beautiful. But, best of all this house truly felt like home…it was comfortable and cozy. There was a note that a kitchen remodel is coming soon. I’m sure that will just add to this lovely home. Located in a quiet neighborhood.

Nicely decorated house, loved the pool!

Located in a quiet neighborhood on a big lot, we enjoyed using the pool and thought that the house was decorated nicely. Communication with the owner and accessing the house was convenient. Had everything we needed for an easy stay - phone charging cords and bluetooth speaker were added bonus. Ping pong table in the basement was a hit. However, there were a few things that we had to be careful with our elementary aged kids - electrical outlets without covers on them, cut off pipe sticking up by the side of the pool, cabinet drawers that were broken, drywall peeling above master bedroom bed. AC wasn't great upstairs for a hot summer day and wifi would go in/out if more than one person was using. Lots of work and upgrades have been done to improve the house, but still a work in progress in some aspects.

Great home!

We stayed there with some friends, had a wonderful time in the pool and the basement games! Easy check in, fast responses, everything looked very clean! Only things I would say, there were a bunch of fruit flies and flies when we got there, it might have just been the previous people not closing doors, but a dehumidifier might help with that since the pool is right there. The kitchen cabinets do smell older, they’re clean, just have that smell that reminds me of my grandma’s house. Only other thing would have been good to have a heads up that the pool cleaning lady was coming at 9pm. My husband was ready to defend us against whoever drove in the driveway and turned off the lights. All was fine, but definitely made us a bit nervous that late at night. Otherwise fabulous beds, great layout for the house, great pool the kids practically lived in, cute towns and parks nearby for the kids!
