Spend a lazy afternoon moseying around Little Petherick’s old granite cottages and historic architecture (0.5 miles), a quaint village nestled in the wooded valley of Little Petherick Creek. Cycle or stroll along the Camel Trail (5 miles) over to the lively seaside town of Padstow, and fill up on delicious seafood suppers in the renowned restaurants of Rick Stein. Its bustling harbour is ideal for kids to try fishing, while adults can check out some of the local arts in the many galleries and shops. The family-fun attraction of Camel Creek Theme Park is a mere 3.5 miles away, whereas golfers may want to take their shot over at Merlin Golf Course (7 miles).
