Nous venons de terminer une rénovation de 2 ans sur la maison, nous sommes fiers de présenter une maison élégante, bien aménagée et luxueuse. Composée de 5 chambres doubles, 3 salles de bains (4 wc), un grand salon et une immense cuisine / petit-déjeuner / salle à manger, une terrasse, une véranda et un jardin clos, cette maison est parfaite pour les occasions spéciales et les vacances en famille. Avec une vue imprenable sur la mer jusqu'au phare de Trevose Head à travers la baie de Port Isaac, la maison est à seulement 5 minutes en voiture de la magnifique plage de marée et de chiens de Trebarwith Strand (ou encore mieux à 20 minutes de marche à travers les falaises), à 5 minutes à pied de la meilleur pub / restaurant de North Cornwall, The Mill House Inn, à 5 minutes en voiture des magasins de Tintagel et à 5 minutes à pied du sans doute le plus beau tronçon du célèbre South West Coastal Path. Parking pour 2-3 voitures. Deux grands téléviseurs HD, système de son surround, Hi Fi, Wi-Fi partout. De nombreuses prises pour recharger tous les téléphones, I pads et lap tops! et jusqu'à 2 chiens par arrangement.

Our stay was wonderful and Overdene was the perfect house for us. The location is amazing as you have access to a gorgeous beach which is perfect surfing for kids and the cliff tops for lovely walks. The downstairs open plan area is perfect for big families, as you can fill advantage of the big table, kitchen, bbq and garden all together. The bedrooms are a great size and the kids loved the bunk bed room. All in all, it was perfect.

Good size house

The house is a good size with a nice garden. Sun in the front and back gardens and close enough to walk to the beach and nice pub if you can brave the uphill walk on the way back!

Family holiday at a great family holiday home

We loved our stay in this home. The house is so well set up for families. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and comfortable. The kitchen and dining area were spacious for everyone to be involved. We loved being able to walk to the beach and the pub. Parking and access to the home were easy. Communicating with the owner was a pleasure. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful house in great location!

My group of family and friends had a fantastic week at Overdene, despite the weather being rubbish we had a great time and enjoyed the house so much. Plenty of room for all, lovely bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms and toilets. Great kitchen/dining/entertainment area for evening meals and our games nights :) Andy was incredibly responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

Annual family holiday

The Property was spacious, clean and very well equipped. Having had similar holidays over the last 15 years I would say this is the best property I have stayed in. I met the owner who was very nice and helpful, we had a slight leak which was sorted out efficiently. The weather was wall to wall sunshine, all days on the beach. Could not be improved. Would recommend this property.

80th birthday

The house is extremely well equipped. Whatever you want to do in the kitchen, the means to do it is right there. There is enough space and rooms to get some quiet time when needed and the dining room is spacious enough for all to dine together in comfort. It is a lovely quick walk to the beach and to the pub by the sea. No beach at high tide but that does make it quieter than some beaches.

A fabulous week

We had a fabulous week staying at Overdene in June. We were a party of 9 and a dog, with our grown up children and their partners. The property was comfortable and well equipped and felt like we were staying in a friend’s house. Andy was very helpful and communicative, responding quickly to any queries. We particularly enjoyed a couple of day at Trebarwith and the food at the beach cafe was great. We also walked into Tintagel several times (about 30 mins) and had 2 very good dinners at Ye Olde Malthouse. Great to have another holiday in Cornwall after many years away!

Wonderful holiday home for family & friends!

We had the most wonderful stay in Overdene. It’s a fabulous property with glorious views of the sea from all the rooms on each floor. Perfect for our 2 families including 3 under 7’s. The huge trampoline in the garden was an added bonus for the kids! The property was very clean & had everything we needed to make us feel at home. Andy the owner is easy to contact & was a great host! The walk to the nearest beach is 10 mins through fields & a glen. Local pub does great food. Fabulous coastal walks & a great location to explore North Cornwall. Highly recommend!

Andrew’s House

Hi, My name is Arben and we booked a weeks vacation in Treknow Tintagel and we chose Andrew’s house based on the reviews and this is the reason I’m writing one as well. The house was spacious and clean,everything that was needed was there and Andrew was kind enough to suggest some nice places to visit. Including the children, it was 11 of us and we had plenty of room and wonderful time. We will for sure visit this place again in the near future. Even though we didn’t get to meet Andrew personally he was on the other side of the phone if anything was needed. Thank you Andrew and hopefully we will visit again soon. Kind regards Arben.

Great house for big family getaways

The house was brilliant for our needs - 3 generations holidaying together. We had great family meals most evenings in the huge kitchen/ diner (which also extends to the patio beyond and has lovely views of Trevose Head). Everyone could be together with without getting in each other’s way. The kids loved the trampoline and also the lounge where they chilled out in front of the TV after tiring days out at the beach! There was plenty of space throughout the whole house with big bedrooms and a good number of bathrooms so no one ever felt cramped. Being Andy’s home this house has a nice homely/ lived in feel to it... which meant we felt at home straight away. The walk to the beach takes approx 20 mins over fields but it is a fun walk and the beach is very nice when you get there- small but it has interesting caves and rock pools (only issue is you lose all of the beach at high tide). The house is in a small village with no shops so you need to drive everywhere and some of the roads are v tight... but as long as you stick to the roads you know are wider it is fine!!! Ideas for things to do- Tintagel castle, St Nectans Glen, surfing at Polzeath, Sunday lunch at the Mill House, Golf at Rock, Ferry to Padstow plus many more All in all, we had a great time. The house was perfect and Andy was the perfect host - always responsive and even posted belongings back to us which we foolishly left behind - thanks Andy- you’ve got a lovely place

Fantastic property for families

We were a family of 12, comprising of 6 adults and 6 children. The house is a great size for larger families loads of space, all bedrooms were great size lovely comfortable beds. The views from front of house are amazing. The children loved the trampoline in the back garden, plenty of seating front and back to enjoy the sun. The owner Andy was in touch during our stay and provided information. Trebarwith Strand beach was stunning, the children spent a lot of time bodyboarding and loved it. Fabulous coastal walks and a great location to explore North Cornwall. Thank you Andy for a lovely stay Jan and family

Lovely house in a fantastic location

Overdene was perfect for our family gathering. It is a very comfortable home providing lots of space with a fully equipped kitchen. We all enjoyed our stay including the dog. The location is ideal for walking and body boarding. The beautiful beach at Trebarwith Strand is a short walk down through fields. The coastal path walks are stunning. Andy, the owner, kept in touch with us and provided plenty of information about the house and the area to make our stay as easy and fulfilling as possible.

My wife and I moved to this area of North Cornwall from London 10 years ago and now could not imagine living anywhere else. North Cornwall is as beautiful as anywhere we have travelled on our countless global treks. If you enjoy walking or surfing, beautiful countryside, villages and churches and great local produce you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This area of North Cornwall remains a bit of an undiscovered gem. We have easy access to all the well known holiday spots such as Rock and Polzeath but the local atmosphere is far more relaxed and equally, if not more beautiful.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Aside from the myriad of attractions which revolve around the sea and beach the greatest joy we have with our dog Squidge are the huge number of incredible walks many of which can start and finish from our front door. We will leave a guide to 10 of the best in the house for your information.
