During the summer months, visitors can hop on a boat trip out to Coquet Island, known for its varied seabird population. The village of Warkworth, with its historic castle, art gallery and shops, is just 2 miles away. Another good destination is the market town of Alnwick 9 miles away with its impressive castle and gardens that were featured in both the Harry Potter films and period drama, Downton Abbey.

Once inside there is an impressive open-plan living area with wooden floors and sliding glass doors taking up a good portion of one side allowing the light to flood the space and offering beautiful views of the marina. These doors lead out to a decked balcony and are directly above the bustling harbour. A welcoming kitchen is to one side with an island breakfast bar and four stools. Adjacent to this is a wooden dining table, so there is plenty of space to prepare and enjoy meals, plus it means that the chef of the group is never lonely! Two plush sofas are arranged around a large coffee table and there are easy chairs over by the window. The two bright and airy bedrooms have wooden floors, pleasant views and both are beautifully decorated.
