Unwind in the heart of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty during your escape with a group of friends or family in this spacious and homely four-bed cottage with sea views, a delightful garden plus a top-floor studio room boasting its own kitchen area. Fill your time with lazy beach days, explore the vast picturesque Holkham Estate and check out the local markets.
The ground floor of this coastal home has a tranquil nautical-themed kitchen/dining room with pastel hues and plenty of natural light that streams in through the patio doors. A breakfast table is the perfect place for planning the day ahead. Relax on the sofas in the cosy lounge with soft sofas while watching some TV. Completing this level is a convenient utility room, a dining room plus a separate WC. Up the first set of stairs is the first floor where a king-size bedroom and family bathroom are located. The second steeper stair case in the property takes you to find a double and a twin, plus a family shower room. Another set of steep cottage-style stairs takes you to the second floor where the studio is located which can be booked for an additional charge. This room features a lounge and kitchen area, and the sofas can be converted into two 4’ double beds. Outside, a courtyard garden is the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine with a chilled drink.
While basing yourself in Well-next-the-Sea, some of the best Norfolk delights will be on your doorstep. In the port town, you’ll have a handful of restaurants, shops and cafes, and a golf course within 0.5 miles. Start your day with a stroll along the East Fleet River (200 metres) to reach the expansive Holkham Beach (1.5 miles) – a filming location of Shakespeare in Love. For an adventure, you could book a boat tour from the local agency in the town. Spot the wildlife at Scolt Head Island National Nature Reserve (7.5 miles) or discover the tranquil lake, woodland and historic country house of Holkham Estate (2 miles). Visit Burnham Market (5.5 miles) on a Wednesday to browse the locally sourced produce and handmade gifts.

- Private parking for 1 or 2 medium-sized cars, but this does restrict the courtyard garden space
