This is the best location and house I have stayed. I have been vacationing in Hilton Head for the past 10 years. The house was great, everything was on the first floor, spacious and clean. Easy access to the beach. They had beach towels and chairs, toys for kids. Definitely recommend this property, I will be booking this again.

the house was great and so close to beach and other activities. Had a small issue regarding pool heating but management company was extremely helpful and proactive in getting it resolved

Great House - Great Location

Beautiful house, excellently appointed, a very short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the pool and the lovely neighborhood, as well. We would definitely come back.

Ideal location for Family Reunion

It was a perfect location to vacation with our grown children and young grandchildren. Beautiful beach very close by. 5 comfortable bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Wonderful pool. Great access to bike trails

Great house

House was amazing. Great location and pool! Loved all the covered areas outside by the pool. A lot of space for everyone to spread out. Would definitely stay here again! Loved the short walk to the beach!

Perfect Location

A minute walk to the beach - perfect location - well stocked kitchen (cookware/dishes) - great 5 bdrm pool home. VERY clean. Will book again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and the house; Coastal Homes & Villas were great at keeping up informed when a worker arrived (pool filter needed some work.) The house needs some maintenance- soft spots on the deck and unsteady railing. It would be nice to have 2 items: a blower - the palm tree in the backyard sheds constantly on the patio and the broom every day gets old. Also, an outdoor shower or a faucet that can be reached without walking the dirt would help to wash off the sand rather than jumping in the pool with the sand. The kitchen was large & well equipped and we enjoyed having a grill so close to the kitchen.

And for days when the beach was a little windy/chilly, we were able to enjoy the pool and spa and great outdoor areas. Having the pool heated is a must if you are in HHI for Spring Break. We had two families stay in the house, but there was definitely room for more. Just a short walk or bike ride from the General Store and from the amazing pickleball courts. Highly recommend!

Hilton Head Home on Mooring

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 2nd time renting this home. It is a nice home that works for our family. The house is showing some ware. 4 or 5 tiles were missing from the pool. The deck and steps need replaced as planks were loose and hanging. On the 2nd day we had no air-conditioning. Fans were brought in until it was fixed. Coastal Home staff were wonderful!! They were fast and helped with any concerns we had. We will look for another home in the future.

It was so easy to access the gorgeous beach and the neighborhood offered lots of sidewalks for walking as well. The house was spotless, well-decorated, the beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of updated and beautiful bathrooms, and the kitchen had everything needed to cook and bake. We would definitely stay here again!

Well organized kitchen, very clean house. Pool & hot tub perfect and the beach a 2 minute walk on a private path. Beach was gorgeous and not at all crowded. Screened in porch an advantage. Plenty of room for everyone in the living room/dining/kitchen open area. Comfy beds and furniture. Everyone enjoyed the house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 6 adults and 5 children (ranging in ages from 3-15) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 48 Mooring Buoy! The layout of the home was perfect for us, clean, well maintained, and kid friendly. The property description is very accurate and the only amenities our family could have used more of were forks and knives because we love to stay on the property for meals most days. The property manager was also very quick to solve any issues we had. The outdoor pool and spa area is great (we did pay extra for heat in the spa), and the short walk to the beach make it an excellent location. We rented bikes which were also a big hit with the whole family. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location and Property

Our family had a great experience with this property. Proximity to the beach was important, and did not disappoint. This house has been well maintained, and possesses high-quality furnishings. Plenty of king size beds that were firmly comfortable. Air conditioning was perfect for the main floor as well as the one room that is ground level. The pool is in great shape. However there is no safety restraint that would prohibit a toddler getting out the back door and having immediate access to the pool. The kitchen was modestly supplied with cookware, and if you need more than a half a teaspoon for your measuring bring your own. Having access to a garage was bonus material for storing bikes and beach gear. Overall, for a group of 14 there was ample space to spread out and gather.

Impeccable Property with Ideal Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 48 Mooring Buoy was the perfect property for our family trip to Hilton Head. We were a group of 12 people (five families) and this house couldn't have been more ideal. The property description is very accurate, and the location CANNOT be beat! The house is situated right next to a beach access path and is a very short walk from the beach- doable for even the two-year-old in our group. It was windy for a portion of our trip, which eliminated the beach as an option. We were so thankful to have a private pool and the trees surrounding the house provided protection from the wind. The house was clean and well-maintained. It is an older home, but recent renovations provide a modern look and feel. Coastal Home & Villa provided excellent customer service; they ensured we had everything we needed every step of the way. I highly recommend this property and would definitely rent from Coastal Home & Villa again in the future.
