An Excellent Refurbishment

An excellent refurbishment. You couldn't fault this super accomodation. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of thought has obviously been given to every detail. The reclining sofas were much appreciated after a day out. The location is ideal with Booths on the doorstep and town a short walk away. The apartment will certainly be our first choice when we visit Keswick again.

Comfortable Stay

A lot of care has gone into this place, it was lovely. When the only thing you can criticise is the very low and hard to reach key safe, which I believe is being dealt with, it sums up exceptional accommodation - thank you!

Enjoyable, comfortable short break.

Enjoyed a v cosy stay in Azalea and it was an ideal location - central yet really quiet. The property had nearly everything we needed and bed was extremely comfortable. I know it's old fashioned, but as big tea drinkers, we missed a tea cosy . The sofas with electronic footrests and charging points were a welcome novelty.

Couldn't fault the apartment, everything was super. Very comfortable, lovely and warm and imaculate. The location is great with a Booths on your doorstep. Very near to the town centre but in a peaceful location. Friendly pheasants! Hopefully we shall return.

Azalea

We had a fantastic stay in Keswick and really enjoyed the apartment. Everything was great, including the furniture, and the bed was especially comfortable, which made our stay even better. What truly stood out was the team at Keswick Cottages. They went the extra mile to make everything perfect for me and my family, and their care and attention made a big difference. An amazing place to stay — we would highly recommend it and would happily return.

Early spring break

Excellent apartment in a great location and with the added bonus of parking. Didn't need the car as we walked locally or used the bus. We had everything we needed (except a missing bread knife from the set?) and the bed was really comfortable. A lovely quiet break - except for the rather wet and windy weather.

Hi Hazel, Thank you so much for your lovely review of Azalea. We’re really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the apartment, found the location ideal, and made the most of being able to get around on foot and by bus — it’s great not to have to rely on the car. It’s also wonderful to know that you found the apartment comfortable and well equipped, especially the bed, which makes all the difference for a relaxing break. Thank you for flagging the missing bread knife as well — we’ll make sure that’s replaced promptly. We’re glad you were able to enjoy a peaceful and quiet stay, even if the Lakeland weather was doing what it does best! We’d love to welcome you back to Keswick again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Just what we needed

With my husband having mobility issues this flat was in the perfect position for easy access to the town centre also it was all ground floor accommodation. The flat had good access to all the rooms and was easy for my husband to get around. I would certainly recommend this flat to anyone with restricted mobility as it is near to most of the town centre and it is just a few minutes walk to the bus station and Booths supermarket. We would certainly book this property again when we go back to the Lakes.

Hi, Lynda! We're so glad that Azalea gave you just what you needed from your Lakes break. The properties in Elliot Park are very sought-after because of their convenience, especially with proximity to Booths and EV chargers. Being a ground-floor flat, Azalea is ideal for guests with restricted mobility that perhaps don't require a fully-accessible cottage. We recommend calling ahead to book! Azalea is very popular. An absolute gem !

Azalea was absolutely perfect for the 2 of us. We couldn’t fault it at all. We were lucky to have found such a lovely place so close to the town (2 min walk) with a parking space and a small outside area. We will definitely go back next time we visit the Lakes.
