This 2 bedroom caravan has a main bedroom with double bed and en-suite toilet. There is a twin bedroom for children. There is a separate bathroom with toilet and shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4-hob gas cooker, grill and oven, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, kettle and toaster. The dining area seats 4.

The living room area has plenty of seating with a TV and electric fire. The caravan has double glazing and gas central heating throughout.

There is a gated decking area with table and chairs. Next to the caravan is a private parking space.

Well behaved dogs are allowed in this caravan, max 2 dogs. Please do let us know if you are bringing a dog.

Free Wifi is available in this caravan.

Bedding (pillows, pillowcases, quilts, quilt covers, sheets) are provided and beds will be made prior to your arrival. You will need to bring your own beach and bath towels.

We provide some essentials for your arrival such as a toilet roll and hand towel in each bathroom, and some tea, coffee, milk and biscuits in the kitchen so that you can check in and relax before going shopping and starting your holiday properly.

Please note that this is self-catering. The items provided are for your arrival, not for the duration of your stay.

We can book discounted ferry tickets for you with either Wightlink or Red Funnel. If you would like us to book discounted ferry tickets for you, please ask once you have completed your booking.

The caravan was nice and clean and comfy, and the site is great. However, we had a few problems during our stay. The fridge and freezer did not work at all, so we had to throw away a lot of the fresh food we had bought. The gas also ran out halfway through the holiday, so we had no hot water or heating. This was rectified quickly though, so cannot fault them for that. The man on call could not fix the fridge. I've still not had a response/apology from the caravan owners regarding the fridge situation, so communication is pretty poor.

The gas didn't run out as such - this caravan has a manual changeover valve so when one gas bottle runs out, it's turn the changeover valve to the other gas bottle - so that was dealt with quickly. We're sorry the fridge freezer failed. These things can happen - appliances simply don't last forever - and we don't get a warning beforehand that they're going to fail, it just happens when it happens. Unfortunately it was Easter weekend so there was no chance of getting a replacement integrated fridge freezer during your stay. Also, being Easter weekend, we were fully booked, otherwise we may have been able to offer alternative accommodation. The fridge freezer has now been replaced with a brand new one.

All properties have bedding included and you'll find some essentials in the property for your arrival.

We can book discounted ferry tickets with either Wightlink or Red Funnel, subject to availability. Early booking is essential during school holidays.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Fairway Holiday Park has a bar / restaurant, a children's play area and a swimming pool. Please note that resort facilities are open from around mid-March to October half-term only. Please note these facilities are provided by the holiday park, not by us, so we cannot quote prices, opening times or availability.

There are three car ferry routes to the Isle of Wight, operated by Wightlink from Portsmouth and Lymington, and Red Funnel from Southampton. We can book discounted ferry tickets for you with both Wightlink and Red Funnel, subject to terms and availability.

If you are travelling by public transport, we recommend that you travel by Wightlink Fastcat or Hovertravel Hovercraft from Portsmouth to Ryde. There are frequent bus services from Ryde to Shanklin. There is also a train from Ryde to Shanklin.

You do not need a car if you are on holiday in this property as it is close to the railway station, the main shopping area in Shanklin and frequent bus services to other parts of the Island.

This property is about a 5 minute walk from Sandown railway station. Sandown town centre and beaches are about a 15-20 minute walk.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Sandown is a popular holiday resort on the South-East of the island, with miles of sandy beaches, many of which are dog friendly all year round.

Sandown railway station is a few minute's walk from this property. Trains can take you North to Brading and Ryde, or south to Shanklin. Frequent bus services to all parts of the island run from Shanklin bus station.

This is a self-contained property, you can come and go as suits you. You do not need to contact us to check in or out. The key for entry is in a Master Key Safe outside the property, so you can let yourselves in at check in time.

A few days before your holiday, we will send you a message with directions to the property. The key safe code will be sent by text message from IWVacations shortly before check-in time at 4pm. Please note that early check-in is not available.

Although you do not need to meet us, we are normally nearby and available by phone, text message or email, 8am to 8pm. If you have any problems, something is not working, need advice on tourist attractions or anything, please do feel free to contact us.
