Our third time staying in the Roc Mar block (or ‘edificio’). We do love the view over the bay and don’t mind being woken at 7am by the siren instructing the fishing vessels they can go out. Nice balcony to sit out on watching the swifts and house martins (there was a house martin nest on the balcony which did leave a bit of a mess, but that’s nature for you!). Super modern overhead shower, very impressed and we really appreciated the spacious drawers under the sink for our wash kits. Beds were ok, firm mattresses that could maybe have done with soft mattress toppers. Lots of fans in the apartment and they were very well used, it being a hotter than hot two weeks.Not enough power sockets. No WiFi which we didn’t realise in advance, that was a bit of a bind, we spent a few minutes each day lurking outside Ona Bar and San Pau coffee shop downloading stuff from their free WiFi. Bought some extra data instead.You have to pay extra for bed linens and towels. This is rather weird. Who brings bed linen with them on holiday ? You don’t have to pay extra for linens in a hotel. Anyway we paid up and washed them after a week. There’s a washing machine which was also well used and being so hot, stuff dried quickly. Airer provided on the balcony.
