40 Water Lane, a cottage over three floors, consists of a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, air fryer, kettle, toaster, and original beams, and a living/dining room with gas stove, dining seating for four, TV, sofa, and armchair. The bedrooms consist of 1 x second-floor double, 1 x family room (with a double and single). There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed rear stepped garden with patio and furniture, beautiful countryside views, and off-road parking for one car. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Today, Cromford offers a selection of quality pubs, shops and cafĂ©s, as well as Arkwrightâs Cromford Mill and canal, a world heritage site. The area boasts an abundance of attractions such as Gulliver's Kingdom, the nearby Peak District Mining Museum and splendid Chatsworth House. Visitors can take a ride on the Heights of Abraham cable car and take in the views in style, whilst the more active are catered for with plentiful walking around the Derwent Valley and the White Peak, as well as rock climbing and also with cycling opportunities at Carsington Water and the High Peak, Monsal and Tissington Cycle Trails.
