The home actually doesn't need any TLC, it is freshly remodeled. The minor leak was due to the garbage disposal cracking when it was abused by the renter. The tub drained slow due to a minor hair clog deep inside the drain pipe. As far as lizards go if you come to a home in Florida and don't see at least a couple lizards running around then I would worry about the toxicity of the environment, these are the sub tropics and the little guys are everywhere! We love em!

Wow such a false negative review from what turned out to be the most disgusting, and filthy renters I have ever encountered in over 29 years of hosting vacation rentals. These people left dirty diapers in every trash bucket in every single room. The smell upon entering the home was unbearable, thankfully we have an amazing cleaning staff. The wifi code is clearly listed in the VRBO checkin instructions, there was more than enough trash bags for 2 people and there was certainly enough detergent pods, plus additional bottles of liquid detergent under the sink. They never had any issue getting in touch with me, they texted me requesting the already available wifi code and I texted right back. They also texted me requesting extra trash bags, and I replied immediately back to him then as well. This home comes very well supplied with all the usual "starter" amenities, and most certainly more than enough for 2 adults staying just a few days. I have rated these guests as 2 star (I reserve 1 star ratings for guests that cause damage) and would most certainly never rent to them again, in fact my cleaner stated if I ever did rent to them again she would quit!

Well it is truly a sad day when someone can post a review that is almost 100% lies. The truth is that yes the dish washer broke during their stay. The truth is I never said "I don't know what to do about it" The truth is also that it worked perfectly fine prior to their arrival. The truth is that upon learning from them that it broke I immediately called every appliance repair shop in the area and finally found one that could be out within a day. The truth is the appliance repair tech arrived as scheduled on 12/30 and diagnosed the dishwasher as needing some new circuit boards which would take 3 "business" days to obtain. The truth is the parts were immediately ordered and came in as promised after 3 business days, and were then installed on the 5th. The truth is that the Scrudatos called and texted me multiple times each and every day for updates including New Years Eve, New Years Day, Saturday the 2nd on Sunday the 3rd, and again on Monday the 4th. I took every call and answered every text and each time had to retell them that it was 3 "business" days for the parts to arrive. The calls came from both of the Scrudatos so perhaps each one didn't know the other one was contacting me. I have the call logs and texts saved by the way. I am highly offended that this review states that there was "no communication" from the owners since I had more contact with these people in 2 weeks than any other guest I have hosted in 20 plus years. I never made light of the fact that the dishwasher had broke, but I was taken aback by Mrs Scrudato's initial statement to me when reporting the issue that she "didn't know how they would be able to have dinner with out a working dishwasher." Really? The truth is that it wasn't 12 days it was 7. I am sure anyone reading this review will take note of the gross exaggerations contained in it. Can you imagine it taking someone over an "hour/day" to hand wash dishes for 2 people? The truth is this review is written to be spiteful because they didn't get the huge refund they were pushing for. I have permanently banned these folks from my properties and gave them the lowest guest rating possible on VRBO hopefully no one else will have the misfortune of hosting this couple. I think our 38 plus 5 star ratings clearly shows what we have to offer and how we are to deal with, so I certainly won't be losing any sleep over this fiction filled, bent truth review.

Not sure why you think it says no pets. This property has always allowed pets which is clearly stated in the description, in fact there is even a pet fee charge line that pops up during the check out process. It also clearly states pets are allowed in the house rules. There was absolutely nothing misleading about the homes description. So therefore the statement that the "listing is misleading" is actually extremely misleading.
