This is a fantastic apartment that exceeded our expectations. The location is great - on a central thoroughfare in Marais, across the street from Les Halles and within walking distance to about everything you could imagine. We primarily went to the Chatelet metro station as we found the most direct trains from there - it was about a 18-20 minute walk. Other Metro stations and bus stops are right around the corner. We also used Uber more than expected - Uber in Paris is very easy and inexpensive. For some trips it was easier and cheaper to get an Uber pick us up at our corner than to take multiple trains, especially as we could share the cost of an Uber vs. individual Metro ticket. (We were surprised by that) We would not recommend Uber on weekdays as the car traffic in Paris is significant, but on the weekends we used it a lot. There are also bike rental stations within a block, and this street has a bike lane. The apartment itself is beautiful, exactly as the photos depict. The main draw for this property (for 3 adult women) was the size - we had three beautiful separate bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Only one bathroom had a separate toilet down the hall which was fine. The apartment is filled with light with floor-to-ceiling windows. Each bedroom has its own smart TV and its own thermostat; we did not need heat or AC as the weather was perfect. The balcony is not wide (just wide enough for two bistro tables and chairs) but we went out a few times to enjoy the sunshine. It was nice to have a big living area with table & chairs; it was also nice to have a full kitchen though we didn't cook; we used the frig to store our butter & cheese that we bought to take home. We had seen a caution about the street noise and light (as it is indeed a busy street with a significant amount of ongoing traffic) but it was never a problem for us. The master bedroom/bathroom is on the inner courtyard so very quiet. The local property management company (Studio Prestige) was very responsive and helpful. The only confusion I had initially was that I booked via VRBO (US-based) which noted that the property was on a third-party platform (Belville, a European-based home rental company), then managed by a local property management company (Studio Prestige). Once we connected with Studio Prestige (about 10 days prior), they were very helpful and responsive. They provided a complete apartment guide - very detailed with access info, maps and local reco
