Charming single-storey hideaway with garden access, perfect for couples

A cosy one-bedroom wooden lodge tucked away in the peaceful grounds of a historic Burgate home, right on the edge of the New Forest National Park. Perfect for couples or young families, The Hideaway offers a relaxing base for exploring scenic trails, spotting wildlife, and visiting nearby towns like Salisbury and Ringwood.

Nestled in a quiet corner of a one-acre garden, this recently refurbished bungalow combines homely charm with convenience. With its tongue-and-groove pine interior, it’s a warm and welcoming place to return to after a day’s adventures.

A Home to Relax and Unwind
Inside, the living/dining room is comfortably furnished with a double sofa bed and Freeview TV – ideal for cosy evenings in. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for self-catering, while the bathroom offers a bath with shower over. We currently have Wi-Fi available, but no Ethernet connection at the moment.

The double bedroom is light and spacious, with room for a travel cot if needed (provided free of charge on request).

Location
The Hideaway is perfectly placed for exploring the New Forest. Footpaths opposite lead straight into scenic walking routes, and cycling enthusiasts can securely store their bikes on site. The town of Fordingbridge, with shops, cafés, and the River Avon, is just a mile away.

Nearby attractions include the New Forest Water Park, Moors Valley Country Park, Beaulieu Motor Museum, and the cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester. The coast, including Bournemouth and Christchurch Harbour, is within easy reach, as are iconic sites like Stonehenge.

Booking Policy
- Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file.
- If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled.
- Early payment is allowed (card fees up to 3% are non-refundable if cancelled).

Cancellation Policy
- Full refund if cancelled 30+ days before arrival.
- 50% refund if cancelled 14–30 days before arrival.
- No refund if cancelled within 14 days of arrival.
