Summary:

This delightful cottage offers a cosy retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway in the heart of the Northumberland National Park. Enjoy the comforts of a fully equipped kitchen, a relaxing bathtub, and the convenience of private parking. Explore the stunning rural surroundings with activities like cycling, or simply unwind and embrace the serene atmosphere of this lovely cottage.
The Space:
Stonecrop Cottage is a fabulous, detached stone cottage with stunning views across the Coquet Valley. Nestling in the picturesque village of Alwinton it stands amongst some of the most outstandingly beautiful and unspoilt countryside in Northumberland. Stonecrop Cottage has charm and tranquillity in abundance.
As you walk into the hallway, head to the right and youâll find the bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The bedroom is a tastefully decorated, bright space featuring a comfy double bed and contemporary lighting which hangs above the space. Patterned wallpaper contrasts perfectly with the white-painted stone walls within the neutral colour scheme. A traditional tall wardrobe and exposed wooden flooring complete the room and add even more charm.
In the ensuite bathroom youâll find grey floor tiles and sleek silver hardware. The room features a bathtub with overhead shower and a cherry red, gloss vanity cabinet.
Head back to the entrance hallway, to the left and youâll discover the open plan kitchen and living area. Relax on the eclectic, leather sofa with a book or switch on the flat screen TV to catch up on your favourite shows. This well-designed living room has low lighting which creates a lovely calm and relaxing atmosphere.
The shaker kitchen creates a cosy feel which contrasts beautifully with the striking red walls. Youâll have everything you need for your stay as the kitchen is equipped with a whole host of modern appliances.
Enjoy meals at the dining table for up to four â whether itâs breakfast after a lazy morning or an evening dinner with your loved one.
From the living space, you can open the sliding door into the conservatory which, in turn, leads to the garden. In the summer months, sit in the conservatory, which boasts a second dining space, and let the fresh Northumberland air drift in.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full lower floor of the cottage. The owner may be present upstairs, however this is entirely separate to the cottage.
The keys to Stonecrop Cottage are accessed via a key safe box. Further information will be provided prior to check-in.
A maximum of two vehicles are welcome to stay at Stone Crop Cottage per reservation. Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle.
The garden may be used, however this is at guests' risk.
