Andromeda: Lakeside Cabin with Hot Tub | Loch Ken near Galloway Forest Park
Lakeside cabin with private hot tub on the shores of Loch Ken, beside Galloway Forest Park in Dumfries & Galloway. Relax on your woodland deck, explore forest trails and enjoy incredible Dark Sky stargazing in one of the UKâs most peaceful landscapes.
Andromeda is a bright, handcrafted glamping cabin designed for comfort, nature and slow escapes. Set among trees on a small family-run site, it offers the perfect base for couples, friends or families looking to unwind while discovering everything the region has to offer.
Whether you spend your days kayaking on the loch, walking through Galloway Forest Park or simply soaking in the hot tub under the stars, this is a place to slow down and reconnect with nature.
The Cabin
Inside, the cabin is light-filled and welcoming, with large windows that frame views across the surrounding countryside toward Loch Ken.
The open living space includes a comfortable sofa and dining table, creating a cosy place to relax after a day outdoors. A compact kitchenette along the back wall makes it easy to prepare simple meals, morning coffee or evening snacks.
Two king-size sleeping areas provide comfortable accommodation, and the modern bathroom includes a walk-in shower, basin and WC.
Large bi-fold doors open directly onto your private deck, allowing indoor and outdoor living to flow naturally throughout your stay.
Your Private Outdoor Space
The deck is designed to make the most of the peaceful setting.
Start the day with breakfast outside while listening to birds in the surrounding woodland, spend the afternoon reading in the fresh air, or relax in the private hot tub as the evening sky begins to fill with stars.
Because the area sits within the Galloway International Dark Sky Park, the night skies here are among the clearest in Europe. On cloudless nights you can often see the Milky Way stretching overhead.
