But and Ben Luxury Cottage in the heart of Gatehouse of Fleet

Maybe one of the most luxurious and cleanest cottages you'll ever stay in. The only thing that you need to bring is clothes, food, personal toiletries and yourself, everything else is supplied in the cottage.

The But & Ben was originally a stable for the horses who serviced Scott's Timber Mill. The only reminders of the stable is a tethering ring on the back wall & a horse shoe we found while refurbishing the patio. It had been converted to a domestic residence a number of years ago & has been extensively refurbished to provide a unique and luxurious base from where you can explore our wonderful village and surrounding areas.

The space
We are situated in a quiet, private area behind Scott's Mill, at the top of Ann Street. We have a private parking space and you also have your own sheltered garden with patio & furniture to relax in.

Included in the tariff is full gas central heating & electricity. No extras unless you wish to charge your car via our charging point.

But and Ben is a short walk away from local restaurants, pubs and shops as well as the Cally Woods, golf course, tennis court and local park. There is also a number of beaches close by, the nearest being about 3 miles away. Our property is most suited to couples.

Living area is sumptuously furnished in leather, white gloss and oak with doors leading to the patio.

The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, electric fan oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, Krups Dolce Gusto Pod coffee maker and the usual kitchen appliances. No need to bring cling film, tin foil, salt/pepper, tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets or cloths etc (There is a washing machine/tumble dryer in the small out-house which can be made available if required.)

The lounge has a 50" smart TV , free unlimited Wi-Fi, Alexa as well as a small library of books.

Modern Relaxing Bedroom

There is 1 bedroom, which boasts a leather double bed with top quality mattress. High thread count bed linen, GHD hairdryer and bathrobes for your use . Modern designer furnishings and a fitted wardrobe, with plenty of quality hangers,complete the look.

Outstanding spa Shower-room

With double basins, a walk-in shower, complete with body jets (you won't want to get out of the shower) and heated towel rail. No need to bring towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, hand wash or hand cream as these are supplied.

Please note we do not allow pets. Weekly bookings are available Saturday to Saturday. Shorter stays, min 4 nights may be available October to March, please enquire.
