A great place to stay on Kiawah, especially if you have little ones since the West pool (small kid friendly) is a very close walk. It's also an easy walk or drive to the beach (one of the few places on the island you can park at the beach access, again, great for small children!), and the home itself was lovely. You can also visit the main pool at Night Heron which is also great for kids of all ages.The bedrooms are spacious enough for pack and plays and One thing to note is that the living and kitchen is upstairs and the bedrooms are downstairs. It's not easy to see that from the listing photos so might be helpful to bring a baby gate if applicable to you. Otherwise we didn't find the The host / resort communication was great, everything was clean and check in/out couldn't be simpler. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful view of the golf course from the back deck.The house was the perfect setup to comfortably accomodate 4 golfers visiting to play a golf tournament.

Outstanding accomodations

Wonderful location! We enjoyed watching golfers play the 17th. As our first time in Kiawah we were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the accommodations, activities, location & ease of utilizing the resort from this gorgeous condo! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic Stay!

We loved our stay in Kiawah. A great spot with resort access! Spent the day on the beach and then finished the afternoon at the Night Heron pool slide. Accommodations were nice and loved the boogie boards, sand toys and beach chairs! We’ll be back!

The house was clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Very spacious. We enjoyed biking to the beach. It was less than a 5 min bike ride to the beach. We enjoyed the pool and kids pool at the Heron pool.

Kiawah summer 2020

This condo was very convenient to the west beach pool and short walking distance to beach. The condo was well equipped. Melinda the owner was very helpful.

Beautiful and serene

My husband and I and our one and three year olds had a wonderful time here. The upstairs area is perfectly suited for families with an open-concept so you can observe the kids playing from the kitchen. Everything is within walking distance or a quick drive. We look forward to coming back here in a year or two!

Thank you for your very nice review of our villa in Kiawah! We work hard to have it be very clean plus a major upgrade every January. We just installed ceramic tile throughout the first floor and last year had the second floor redone (living room, dining room, kitchen, deck, etc. Thank you again!! Melinda

Great, convenient place.

Home is close to the beach. It’s plenty big enough for a family. The kids loved having a TV in their own room. Golf views are fun. The resort privileges component is an absolute must and this property offers it. Recommend it for sure.

Fairway views

Our family of 5 had a great stay! The bed setup is perfect for a family with multiple kids. I would recommend bringing a wagon because it is a little walk to the beach. We found it easiest to load up the car and drive to the small parking lot by the Seascape condos. We enjoyed the beautiful golf course views and proximity to the West Beach pool!

Relaxing family getaway!

Beautiful location, close to pool and beach. View of golf course is a tease as it's soooo expensive! Do the research. Nice, quiet surroundings. Deer walk right past the deck in the evening. You do get a discount towards on-site restaurants. They all looked great but we opted to eat in and venture to more casual eateries. Accommodations very clean, comfortable beds and great shower pressure!

Fantastic!

We have stayed in several properties in Fairway Oaks and this is now our FAVORITE. The layout is great, the condo is clean and lovely decorated and very comfortable. I love having coffee on a porch and this has a great second-story porch with amazing golf views. It's a great walk to the beach, maybe a little tough if you're lugging lots and lots of kid items in the summer, but it's all shaded and easily walkable. We had a great stay here ringing in 2024!

Great place!

The Villa was very nice. Perfect for attending a wedding on the island. The only suggestion I have would be to have a small welcome basket of sorts for the guests. We are used to staying in a place that has a few bottles of water and maybe a small basket with “goodies” to snack on. We had to unpack and quickly run to the store for water and a few snacks. It’s so nice to walk into a place that already has this. Just a suggestion…

Nice Property for Family Getaway

My husband, 5-year-old twins, my mother, and I enjoyed our stay. The check-in process was seamless. We had access to resort pools, one of which was a three-minute walk away. The pools are wonderful, especially when traveling with kids. The condo was big enough for our family of five, but I would not want more people than that in it. The rooms were plenty big. My only comment is that the gully style bathroom between two of the bedrooms was tight, but it was certainly fine for a few days. The bathrooms felt a bit dated/rundown, too. But not the end of the world. We absolutely loved the seating area on the deck outside which looks over a golf hole. It was beautiful and perfect for having morning coffee. The unit owner was very responsive to any question we had, as was Kiawah Resort staff. The ocean was a 10-minute easy walk away. This was a nice property for a 4-5 day stay in Kiawah with a small group!

Lydia-Thank you for your comments on our villa in Kiawah! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and the pools! I am concerned that you felt our bathrooms were outdated. The guest bathroom on the first floor was totally redone with new glass shower doors, new ceramic tile on the first floor, etc. in the last two years. The shared bathroom (listed in the villa description) is what was built when the buildings were designed and built; we have no control over that. We do try to update the villa every January - new painting, flooring if needed, appliances (we have a new stove, microwave, and dishwasher in the villa), etc. Again thank you for your comments!
