Villa Oinothea in Kathikas, Paphos District, Cyprus is privately positioned within a courtyard setting. Villa Oinothea is a four bedroom stone built villa that sleeps eight. Newly built to a very high standard in 2025, it has stunning stone and wood features inside the villa that feel like a traditional Cypriot village home but with many contemporary features.
Villa Oinothea is aptly named. 'Oino' is the ancient Greek word for Wine and 'Thea' means view. The setting amongst the vines along with the spectacular views of the Sea and surrounding area is something quite special.
The villa features every modern convenience. It includes private pool with roman steps, spacious relaxation areas, air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, Coffee Makers, Wi-Fi and is a short and relatively flat walk to shops, bars and restaurants.. **Wi-Fi and Premium IPTV**
Villa Oinothea is located in the traditional Cyprus village of Kathikas. The village is surrounded by vineyards and open countryside. There's a traditional winery on the edge of the village. Kathikas has a small supermarket, many restaurants and bars within an easy enough walk

This villa is definitely a cut above the normal holiday villa offering. The finishes and general atmosphere created are stunning. It is very walkable to the village centre and affords the most stunning views to the Sea and surrounding area. This includes the colourful vineyards. One of the best local wineries(Vasilikon) is just a few hundred metres away. You can go there and have lunch and taste the wines. We highly recommend this villa for a special experience and true touch of luxury living in the sun

Villa Oinothea in Kathikas features wooden beamed ceilings, stone floors and the perfect blend of contemporary and traditional features throughout. Modern conveniences include air conditioning, fitted kitchen with appliances including dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, fridge/freezer and accessories (including sandwich maker, milk frother, coffee machine and more). The open plan living area includes chunky corner sofa, Smart TV with YouTube, Netflix and a large variety of channels, movies and series) and an open fire for cooler off-season evenings.
The villa's design and construction keeps the villa cool in the summer and open log fire keeps it warm in the winter, making it ideal for wonderful family holidays summer and winter.
The master bedroom and ground floor bedroom have four poster king-sized beds and en-suite facilities. There are 2 further twin bedrooms with their own entrance and wet room shower between. **Please note that the twin beds can be made to doubles on request**
**The current IPTV system features most UK Sky channels (premium sports, documentaries, movies & music included) as well as many channels in German, Spanish and Russian. It also features a library of Movies and TV Series which is regularly updated.**
Wi-Fi is included in the rental rate.. The internet/wi-fi is provided by cable from the main supplier in Cyprus and is approx 100mb which is more than sufficient for all normal usage.

There is a driveway for several cars a covered and shady seating area, sun loungers and hanging swing seat. A stone seating area with fire pit is an additional feature and opportunity to relax in the surroundings. Villa Oinothea is the perfect blend of traditional charm and contemporary comforts
There is a ramp and double doors at the rear of the property for easier disabled access.
Air-Conditioning is Included in the Rental Rate for the Bedrooms. Living Area paid for locally at 10 euros per day.

Villa Oinothea is situated just 600m from the centre of the village of Kathikas. The village centre offers a good selection of restaurants and tavernas to suit all tastes, two bars (with Sky TV & Wi-Fi) and a good village shop for groceries. As Kathikas is 600 metres above sea level, it has a good climate in summer a couple of degrees cooler than the coast with very little humidity.
Famous for its vineyards, Kathikas is surrounded by vines and is renowned for the quality of its grapes. Many of the vines have been in the same family for generations. Two very famous wineries open their doors to visitors, so you can enjoy the winemaker's craft. Kathikas is also home to a donkey sanctuary and a tourist information centre.
If you're a bit of an amateur anthropologist, Kathikas is an ideal location in which to observe the traditional Cypriot way of life and to live it yourself. Kathikas' central location makes it the ideal base from which to explore Polis and Latchi, the Baths of Aphrodite, the Akamas Peninsula and the turtle hatchery at Lara Bay. From Kathikas you can choose to visit a number of Paphos' best famous beaches. Coral Bay is a short drive to a fully equipped beach with every type of watersports and diving. Latchi has a delightful beach, and again a full selection of watersports. You can hire a boat at Latchi to explore the Akamas coastline. Drop anchor when you feel like it and swim or snorkel in the crystal clear blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. If you prefer a beach to yourself, try Lara Beach in the Akamas.
Even in the height of the summer its almost deserted.Kathikas retains and continues to re-instate its old world village character whilst encouraging selected new developments.

The village square has a small taverna where you can enjoy a cool drink whilst sitting under the trees.
