Located at the northern edge of Thorpeness, Heath House is a striking architect-designed coastal retreat with uninterrupted sea views and light-filled living spaces that flow effortlessly between indoors and out. Described by The Sunday Times as having "a layout conducive to multi-generational harmony," it perfectly balances private and shared spaces, making it ideal for families, friends, and your four-legged companions to relax, enjoy panoramic balcony views, and experience a serene, restorative setting just steps from the beach.
Step inside and the home immediately feels welcoming, designed to celebrate space, light, and a seamless connection to the outdoors. At its heart, a large open-plan living area brings together a state-of-the-art kitchen, elegant dining space, and relaxed sitting room, all flowing effortlessly for shared meals and socialising. Four large sliding glass doors open onto private gardens on either side of the room, letting the outside in and creating the perfect setting for alfresco dinners in the salty sea air. A separate snug with a Smart television provides a cosy retreat, while upstairs a second sitting room leads to a sea-facing balcony, ideal for catching the sunrise.
The property sleeps up to ten guests across five bedrooms. The master bedroom features a 6' super-king-size bed, a balcony, and an en-suite with both a free-standing bath and walk-in shower. Two further 6' super-king bedrooms include bedroom two with a balcony and breathtaking sea views, and bedroom three with an en-suite; both can also be configured as twin 3' beds. The fourth bedroom is a 4' 6" double with a balcony and sea views, sharing the family bathroom with the adjacent bedroom. The fifth bedroom on the ground floor features a bunk bed and en-suite, though a ground-floor 6' super-king bedroom with en-suite may be available as an alternative at the owner's discretion for an additional charge.
Outside, the front and rear gardens are fully enclosed and thoughtfully arranged for relaxation and play. The south-facing patio and dining areas, complete with a charcoal barbecue, offer ideal spaces for long lunches or evening drinks while soaking up panoramic views. Landscaped lawns provide space for games or quiet moments, with off-street parking for up to six cars. Dogs are warmly welcomed, with a kennel and outdoor space to enjoy safely.
