On the ground floor, whitewashed walls and soft furnishings create a homely atmosphere and at the end of the day, you’ll want to step into the lounge, sink into a plump sofa, and unwind with a cool drink or your favourite programme on the TV. When it comes to dinner time, the separate kitchen is perfectly equipped for preparing delicious meals which can then be served in the dining room at the sociable table seating ten. For further activity head to the Meare and spend the day sailing, kayaking or canoeing across this shallow boating lake. Golf lovers can also practise their swing at the 18-hole course while keen walkers can enjoy a 6.5-mile coastal walk to Aldeburgh.
