LOCATION: The accomodation is easy to find and is only 2 mins walk from the Pile Gate where taxis can drop you off/pick you up. And there are no steps to get to it which is very handy when with a suitcase. ACCESS: Access to the apartment is easy and the communication was very clear. APARTMENT: It is very small but very well designed with a place for everything. We liked the large fridge, Nespresso machine in room, great bathroom, fresh decor, thoughtful touches like hair conditioner and tootbrush in bathroom, a place for a small suitcase, underbed storage, cooking facilities, comfortable beds. AREA: You are right in the old town of Dubrovnik. It is still as magical and wonderful as ever. The city didn't seem as overcrowded or hectic as before. Maybe a lot of people have headed to Kotor instead (we went there too and it was way too busy!). FINALLY: Ear plugs were provided when we arrived which made me worry - there is an outdoor cinema right outside the window. However, be assured that it is not actually noisy at all. The sound proofing is great and the films finish by 11ish anyway. The street is a dead end and so nobody walks past so it is actually incredibly quiet at night. We slept brilliantly the whole time and didn't need the ear plugs at all.

I will consider booking this room again should I go back to Dubrovnik.

The host was kind enough to allow us to check in earlier because we had booked a walking tour at 12nn. We liked the place and location. It was so near Pile Gate. We had big luggage that we couldn't afford to drag it all the way to the old town center. The only stairs we had to take were the ones going to our room but it was all good since we didn't have to walk that far from the gate. The place was also accessible to restaurants and bars. It's just about 1 min walk from the place. The room was so pleasant and clean. Very modern. It even has a kitchen and we were able to cook for our dinner too. The bathroom was good! Even after a shower, the water was contained within the shower area unlike other bathrooms where the water would flow everywhere. Surprisingly the TV had a Netflix access and there is also sort of a Nespresso machine with free capsules and these gave more value for the price we paid!
