Two River Houses - bain à remous, table de billard - 400 pieds d'eau - 16 couchages - confidentialité

Les Twins River Lodges offrent une expérience unique qui ne ressemble à aucune autre, c'est comme "Glamping in Style!" Les ponts s'étendent au-delà du bord de l'eau et vous permettent de voir directement dans la riviÚre depuis le porche.

La vue sur la riviÚre est incroyable depuis les deux maisons et chacun des trois kiosques. Le belvédÚre lointain fournit la cachette parfaite pour s'évader et lire le journal ou se rassembler autour du foyer extérieur avec quelques amis.

Ils sont appelĂ©s les jumeaux pour une raison, ils sont essentiellement la mĂȘme maison, mais cĂŽte Ă  cĂŽte dans votre propre complexe privĂ©. Il s'agit d'une retraite de 4 acres avec plus de 400 pieds de façade sur la riviĂšre Coosawattee. Les deux maisons sont situĂ©es Ă  Ellijay, en GĂ©orgie, Ă  l'intĂ©rieur du Coosawattee River Resort, une communautĂ© fermĂ©e de 5500 acres.

Chaque maison offre deux chambres de maßtre avec lits King et une mezzanine avec deux lits Queen. Deux salles de bain avec baignoire / douche. Coin salon avec nouveaux canapés en cuir et téléviseurs grand écran.

Our family, children and grandchildren spent a wonderful week at these cabins on the river. The cabins, location and the grounds surpassed our expectations. Being right on the river is so peaceful and serene but there was also so much for the kids to do. They enjoyed fishing, floating down the river and kayaking. It was a great time and we will definitely return!

Family Vacation

Our family vacation was a huge hit this year, because everyone loved this property. It is exactly as pictured. It is beautiful, from being able to hear the river, swimming, tubing, and all the wildlife to spending quality time with family with very little TV. Amy was such a great host and it’s so easy to communicate with about check in and other details. If you haven’t visited the Ocoee river, it is something to experience. Thank you, Amy!

Wonderful Experience

Cabins were very comfortable and clean. Lots to see and the river is right by your feet. Parking is not steep like others around the area with plenty of room for 4-5 cars. Amy was also great amwith communication and provide exciting places to visit. Overall wonderful experience to be out there with family and friends.

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful time staying here. It’s tucked away right on the river as the pictures portray, which is beautiful, but if you do not handle winding, mountain roads well, you might want to rethink this location. It would be hard to pass it up though as it is incredible just as listed. The owner was easy to communicate with and attentive to details.

Family getaway

Beautiful place with plenty of space for multi-families. The grandkids had a blast counting the many deer and other wildlife seen during the 5 days we were there. Would definitely book again ❀

Anniversary Getaway

Very spacious homes with amazing views from the back porches where we spent every moment possible looking down on the river rolling by. Great areas to cook both on grill and/or blackstone griddle. Close proximity to the downtown area in Elijay for shopping, lunch or drinks. Very nice area and we will definitely bring the family back for a stay at the Twin Homes!!

Awesome weekend

The owners are very responsive. The houses are wonderful, well supplied with the basics. It was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. There was room to spread out or hang out together. The 10 of us had a wonderful time hanging out on the decks and in the river. We’d highly recommend this getaway property.

Great place for multiple families to stay.

Both houses are laid out the same. Very comfortable with our crew of 6 adults and 6 teenagers. River view is very relaxing. Easy to get to and close to a lot of different things to do. 2 and 1/2 hour inner tube float back to the house from our drop off point. Very relaxing! Glad we got to enjoy this place for a week.

Labor Day Weekend

Great property! River was way up which was a bummer. Decks are awesome. Played pool, foosball & used the hot tub. Used the Weber grill and Blackstone. Went into Ellijay for shopping, food & drinks. Lots of deer everywhere in the HOA - stay alert.

Great week on the river

We had 3 families stay at this property with more than enough room for everybody to have space and not feel crowded. Lots of rain at the beginning of the week but was able to tube mid week and what a great adventure that was. Every inch of the property was utilized by either the kids or adults. The Blackstone was great to use to cook for a large group. I could go on and on. We have rented several houses and Amy by far goes above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay. Thank you again for such a great week on the river.

Relaxing week

Fantastic location right on river. We lived on the expansive decks. Tubing the river down to the houses was a big hit (water was cooler in August than we expected - very refreshing) as was cooking on the Blackstone. Good restaurants and breweries in Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Owner is very communicative and easy to work with. She provided info and great suggestions for things to do in the area. Celebrated a birthday while we were there and had the most wonderful cakes made by a local cottage baker. She (Jen) lives right down the road from the cabins and will deliver - highly recommend for a special occasion (alittlebakedbakery.com). All in all a really great week spent with family.

Jumped back into my childhood!

We had an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! The houses are exactly as pictured, we were not disappointed! It was the perfect layout for extended family! Our 24 year old, daughters and son in laws spent every available moment fishing. The girls had the best luck...lol! We went tubing down the river which I hadn't done since a child! It was so relaxing and brought back memories! We were able to cook dishes at each house and meet on the deck of one to have family meals while watching the wildlife on the river! We visited Blue Ridge only a 25 minute drive to shop and have dinner out one day. All in all, the entire family agreed we will make this place our family getaway from now on! Thanks for the memories and more to come!

Wedding in Elijay

Our son was getting married at Engelheim Vineyard on Saturday. We had a group of 14 which needed A place to relax, celebrate, and close enough to the venue and downtown Elijay for easy acceS to groceries, restaurants, Walmart and other last minute needs. The property by the river was amazing! Everyone who stayed there said the views were breathtaking. The two homes in close proximity allowed privacy while also being able to socialize as well. The cabins had all the necessities to cook and additional things such as spices, detergent, ziplock bags, shampoos and body washes. We’ve stayed in numerous VRBOs and these owners thought of everything. One thing needed in the future would be irons as we all had to iron clothes for upcoming wedding. Additionally, areas of improvement include the gazebo that has the bat and pool table. It is in very bad shape and would suggest update or making additional seating areas to enjoy the breathtaking views. My husband had to use the blower (that was in property) to remove the leaves and debris on the wood walkway to the gazebo prior to our guest arriving as it looked like the cleaners hadn’t even looked at the area beside the gazebo. No big deal but would recommend letting cleaners know outside area wasn’t fully ready for visitors. Overall, we loved our stay and will be returning with famiky to the same property. Price was reasonable for all this property had to offer. We really enjoyed the space and had ample parking for family and friends.

The area is beautiful and the views are spectacular; very private! We basically lived on the deck overlooking the river or in the main room enjoying the fireplace! The home was clean and the check-in and out was easy. Amy quickly responded to any questions.

We own four cabins in the Coosawattee River Resort, these two, Trout Trap - https://www.vrbo.com/109998 and River Lodge on Fir - https://www.vrbo.com/583476. All the cabins are catered to large groups and are located directly on the river.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The word “Ellijay” is an Anglicized form of a Cherokee word, perhaps meaning "place of green things" or "many waters." This would make a lot of sense considering this is the place where the Ellijay and Cartecay Rivers meet forming the Coosawattee River. The Coosawattee and Mountaintown come together and flow into Carter’s Lake: A gorgeous recreational lake developed by the Corps of Engineers. This region abounds with wildlife, including deer, wild turkeys, bears, eagles, and hawks. The Rivers are a favorite for trout fishermen or feel free to our stocked fishing pond within the resort.
