Peninsula is a strikingly unique and modern house on one of the largest plots on the estate. With direct lake access via private jetty and hot tub, Peninsula is ideally situated at heart of the Estate
New to our portfolio for 2024, Peninsula is a stunning property at Lower Mill Estate and the only house of its type within Habitat Escape’s portfolio. Designed with eco-friendliness at the forefront it has an energy rating of 100 (A).
Peninsula is a unique L-shape with a south-westerly orientation, the combination of a large open-plan living space with full sliding doors opening onto a wraparound decked area by the water's edge creates a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. The large decking area boasts a hot tub, BBQ, and bioethanol fire pit, making the outside space perfect for entertaining or simply enjoying the natural surroundings in comfort and style. Peninsula boasts a large garden and a private jetty giving access to the lake.
The location of Peninsula couldn't be more perfect! Situated opposite Ballihoo restaurant means you have convenient access to delicious food whenever you don't feel like cooking at home. The property also benefits from nearby tennis courts for some fun and friendly competition, and the Lower Mill Estate Spa and Activity Hub are also within walking distance, meaning you can easily enjoy all that the Estate has to offer during your stay.
Peninsula sleeps 6 plus an additional 2 in bunk beds and 1 on a trundle bed. There is also a sofa bed that sleeps 2 for additional guests if required.

Minety Lake is the newest addition to Lower Mill and Habitat Escapes! As such, there are still properties and areas around the lake and wider estate that is undergoing final elements of construction, so whilst this property is fully completed, you will see construction, machinery, and workers around the property between 0730 and 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300, Saturday. Please abide by any signage relating to construction areas. Please review the above images to make sure you are aware of the surrounding construction of Infinity House prior to booking. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Habitat Escapes Team.
Ground Floor:
As you arrive in Peninsula, a large hall sets the tone for spaciousness and comfort right from the moment you step inside. There is the convenience of a utility room, especially for longer stays, with both a washing machine and tumble dryer available for your use. You will also find a stylish WC.
From the hall there is contemporary cinema room with a 75-inch smart TV, Sonos sound system and a cloud-like corner sofa, a perfect spot for curling up with a good book or catching up on your favourite shows. The sofa in this room can be made into a double sofa bed for occasional use upon request if additional sleeping space is required however this will however restrict the use of the room as a cinema room.
The Sonos sound system extends throughout the property, inside and out, meaning you can enjoy your favourite music or podcasts wherever you go, whether cooking in the kitchen, dining on the deck or relaxing in the hot tub.
A large open plan kitchen and dining area is the heart of the home, perfectly designed for both practicality and elegance. The kitchen is fully equipped for whatever culinary delights you have in mind and comes with the luxurious touch of a wine fridge. There is the addition of a Nespresso coffee machine and a Bora hob.
First Floor:
The spacious and stylish landing leads to four good size bedrooms.
Starting with the first bedroom overlooking the front, having a balcony with table and chairs is a lovely touch, providing a perfect spot to relax and take in the views of the estate. The built-in wardrobe and en-suite shower room add convenience and privacy.
The next double bedroom overlooking the rear is equally delightful, with access to a balcony spanning the length of the property, offering serene views of the surroundings. The built-in wardrobe and en-suite with a bath provide additional comfort and luxury.
The inclusion of a family bathroom with a shower over the bath ensures that there's plenty of space for everyone to freshen up and relax.
The bunk room adds a playful touch, perfect for younger guests and has an additional
trundle, available for use upon request.
The final double bedroom with en-suite shower, is stylishly furnished with cladding, hanging bedside pendants and TV, boasting a luxury hotel vibe. Also with access to balcony offering beautiful lakeside views.
There is a fifth bedroom that will remain locked and not available for guest use.
Outside:
Spoilt for choice, there are two seating areas at the rear of the property. The first, just off the kitchen, offers versatility with a table and chairs perfect for enjoying breakfast or dining outdoors. The presence of a charcoal BBQ adds to the appeal, providing options for cooking and entertaining. And of course, the highlight: a hot tub! It's a luxurious touch, allowing you to unwind while soaking in the natural surroundings.
The second seating area, adjacent to the cinema room, provides a cosy retreat with a relaxing sofa and a bioethanol fire pit. This setup is ideal for cooler evenings or intimate gatherings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Bioethanol is not provided and guests are recommended to bring a bottle which is easily obtainable online to enjoy this sustainable and clean-burning fuel fire pit.
Overall, both spaces offer unique experiences, whether you're looking to entertain guests or simply enjoy some relaxation time outdoors.
