My spacious and peaceful apartment has been lovingly furnished to a high standard and decorated with our colourful paintings and sculptures. It is bright and perfect for one or two guests and a couple’s special weekend seaside getaway. There’s an elegant living room with a dining area, a kitchen, a king size bedroom and a large bathroom. There’s also a private front patio garden area to enjoy al fresco dining.
The stylish and characterful apartment is located in a historic Victorian villa in one of Hove’s most prestigious roads. It’s 10 mins walk from the beautiful beach and within easy walking distance of Hove station. It’s perfectly located and feels like a haven even though it's only 5 mins walk away from Church Road with its stunning restaurants, cocktail bars and shops. Access is via a front door from the street and is not shared.
Coming in through the front door, brings you into an entrance hallway filled with paintings, mirrors and vintage furniture. This leads through to the spacious lounge with more artworks and a dining area bathed in sunshine from the bay window. There’s a stylish comfortable sofa and leather armchair for relaxing and watching the smart TV. There’s also a desk with an office chair for times when you need to catch up on work. A glass dining table with two vintage leather dining chairs provides the perfect space to enjoy a delicious meal or relax with a morning coffee and plan your day.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare simple meals and breakfasts. Here you will have use of an electric hob and oven, a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge.
There will be some complimentary tea/coffee in my apartment (sorry, no coffee machine). I hope this will be useful for those arriving after a long journey! If you wish to purchase more supplies for your stay there are many local supermarkets within a 5 minute walk.
The large, peaceful bedroom has a window onto the beautiful garden. It has a quality king size bed, bedside tables, bedside lamps and an ornate wooden wardrobe for your clothes. It is decorated with paintings, sculptures and curiosities and there’s a seating area with two chairs for enjoying the evening sunshine.
The bathroom consists of a bath with a shower over, storage units, a sink and a toilet. We provide fresh white bedding and towels (hand towel and bath towel per person) as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap.
We offer remote access with easy self check-in and 24/7 guest support should you need any assistance during your stay.
Guests will have access to the entire apartment.
Access is via a front door from the street and is not shared.
EXTRAS:
EARLY CHECK- IN/ LATE CHECK- OUT
- We can arrange early check-ins or late check-outs, this would cost £40 these will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, please inquire. Also, if guests check themselves in early or check out late then there is a charge of £50 for this.
TRAVEL COT
- We can provide a travel cot if needed, we do not provide the mattress just the travel cot itself. Also, please note that these are first come, first serve, and may not be available, there is a £30 charge for this. Our apologies but we do not provide high chairs.
PETS
- Please inquire with us as we may be able to accommodate your pet. However, please note, an extra pet cleaning fee of £30 is charged and also guests who leave dog mess will be charged £50. Any damages caused by your pet we will charge you for.
PARKING
- Guests can use permit holders spaces at night from 8pm-9am then guests can use; pay and display on street parking nearby or NCP car parks around Brighton and Hove. Best to check Parkopedia or the Brighton council parking web pages. Guests may also want to book a private car parking space for themselves instead. Lastly, some roads are permit holder only from 10:00am-11:00am and then again from 7pm-8pm. Please check road signs for confirmation of chargeable hours.
GUESTS LEFT ITEM BEHIND
- There is a charge of £30 (plus postage and packaging) for any item left behind by the guest that they want posting or dropping off to them, or if they want to come back and collect.
Anything else please just inquire and we will try and be as accommodating as possible!
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
