Separate Toilet.. Air source heat pump and underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack and doggy extras. Front garden with sitting out area with garden furniture and gas barbecue. Grounds (shared with owner). Nestled in serene rural landscape, neighbouring the owners’ home, yet commands full independence, this luxurious barn offers a perfect blend of comfort and charm. Having level access throughout, the barn is ideal for those seeking a seamless and accessible stay. The thoughtfully designed interior is complemented by large windows that flood the space with natural light. Spacious and beautifully designed with open plan social living plan boasting two stunning bedrooms, one of which features a sumptuous super king-sized bed. Both bedrooms come with level access en-suite shower rooms offering convenience and privacy for guests. Step outside to a delightful private garden, where the BBQ waits for relaxed al fresco dining.
Nature lovers, walkers and dog lovers will find this location perfect; the barn is surrounded by miles of excellent walking trails. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll to the village shop or its pub, a great place to stop off and refuel, or continue walking down to the riverside. Jump on the river chain ferry, accessible by foot and car, and located on the opposite riverbank is another pub; grab a drink and sit a while, watching the boats. Guests also are welcomed to enjoy ‘The paddock’ located opposite to the holiday home, here you can enjoy additional space, great for our four-legged friends. Please keep dogs on lead outside the grounds as livestock grazing within nearby fields.
If you appreciate fine food, the area is a haven for foodies, boasting an array of exceptional eateries, from charming country pubs to gourmet restaurants featuring the finest local produce. Whether indulging in a leisurely meal or sampling artisan delicacies, there’s something to delight every palate. The larger village of Loddon nestled alongside the River Chet, just 11 minutes’ drive, with shops, cafes and pubs. The pretty market town of Beccles, 14 minutes’ drive, with supermarkets, shops, cafés, restaurants, regular market days and Lido open air swimming pool (booking advisable). Charter your own day launch and explore the famous Norfolk Broads with miles of inland waterways. Daily boat hire and river trips available from Loddon and Beccles. Fishing available from riverbank (licence required).
Within 30 minutes’ drive is the Medieval city of Norwich, explore its Norman castle museum, theatre, two indoor shopping malls, market square and abundance of great places to eat and drink. The traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth with its Golden Mile amusements, fun fair, waxworks, pitch and putt, Sea Life Centre and shopping centre. Slightly further afield is the amazing Suffolk coastline including everything from traditional seaside resorts, through to popular Southwold with its lifeboat museum, lighthouse, shops and pubs. Relax and enjoy the tranquil grounds of Somerleyton Hall, 7 miles. Travel north to explore Cromer with its iconic pier, sandy beach and town centre. Blakeney Quay, historic Holt and the Royal Sandringham Estate are all within 1.5 hours drive.
