Lovely property in a lovely location for a relaxed break.
Situated on the outskirts of Loddon in a quiet location but within a ten minute walk into the village with all of the shops and amenities at hand. Well equipped property with all you need for a self catering break and some nearby good walks nearby. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
A wonderful property in a quiet location. The owner is considerate with milk and fresh eggs at the site for your arrival. Itâs clean and comfortable. Recommended for its views and its peace and serenity.
The property is a lovely place to stay and I would highly recommend a visit. Easy check in process and lovely touches with eggs, milk and biscuits being left. Very close to a lovely little town to explore and close to all other attractions such as Norfolk Broads and Great Yarmouth. Will definitely be booking to stay again - lovely little home from home.
A lovely little cottage, perfectly located for walking to Loddon village and the river. Great to meet Sandra and Paul the owners, and to find out a bit about the area.
Definitely recommended.
Comfortable & well presented cottage, lovely host, good quiet location only a few minutes walk from Loddon (small supermarket, Chinese takeaway & Swan pub - all recommended).
Spotlessly clean property in a peaceful location, yet only a short walk from the centre of Loddon.
The kitchen had everything we needed and we were happily surprised by the welcome gift of eggs, milk and shortbread. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was spot on.
Sandra and Paul are such friendly and helpful hosts. Weâre looking forward to our return visit.
I really didn't want to come home. This is perfect for a quiet getaway. Situated almost on the river, you can see boats from the bedroom window. Peaceful and idyllic. Would not hesitate to return.
The cottage was very clean and well furnished. It is in a quiet location overlooking open fields and a short walk from the centre of Loddon. The kitchen is well equipped and there is good wifi available throughout the property. Lovely local walks. Thank you for the eggs milk and shortbread awaiting us on arrival, it was a lovely touch. We hope to return.
We stayed for 3 nights at this fantastic cosy, comfy, well equipped cottage, which we couldnât fault. We managed to visit Southwold and the magnificent beach at Winterton on Sea.
The cottage is in a quiet peaceful location we could see the boats going by on the river and heard owls hooting at night. Both the boys (age 14 and12) were blown away by the starry nights (no light pollution)
We look forward to returning in the future. Many Thanks
Wonderful wee cottage and perfect for our stay visiting family in Loddon. Great communication from hosts any easy check in. Cottage was warm, spotlessly clean and cosy. Beds were comfy and shower was great. It was so quiet and my children commented that they slept so well!! Even in the dead of winter, We caught glimpses of a barn owl and deer.. we would definitely stay here again. It was fantastic.. thanks Sandra and Paul for the lovely wee festive touches ⊠very thoughtful of you!! Best wishes
Wonderful place to stay, excellent hosts attentive and helpful. Accommodation is spotless and creates a homely atmosphere for anyone away from home. Surroundings are quiet and calming.
It was very clean the owners very responsive to any concerns. No washing machine or any way of drying anything... as we shower daily reusing a wet towel was not very nice. Removing the huge dishwasher with a washer dryer might help. There is a Shell petrol station nearby that does provide washing/dryers. Local pubs The Swan is okay the The Gull a little further out 15 minutes drive was better. Beaches Covehithe was the best - Southwold a good seaside resort - very little buckets and spades more designer labels.
We spent 3 lovely nights at this cottage, great location if youâre after peace n quiet, great enclosed garden, so if you have a dog it makes it so easy. Easy walk into Loddon, about 10 minutes and a short walk to the river chet, where you can fish if you wish to do so.
We will definitely be returning , perhaps in the winter time.
Paul is a builder who converted the barn Paul and Sandra live in the farmhouse 5 minutes away and therefore always close if needed We have free range chickens so eggs are available at the farm A pet turkey named Tracey And a spoiled Labrador named Bella
The barn was a former agricultural barn where sheep were born and raised this is an ideal location if you like walking or just sitting and relaxing in a very peaceful area It has views overlooking fields and the river Chet, the picnic area which also has holiday moored is only a five minute walk away. The center of Loddon with its array of shop including, pubs, hairdressers, chemist, dentist, Doctors various places to eat or just have a cup tea is only a 10 minute walk away past the historicâ Holy Trinityâ church.
We are on the Norfolk/Suffolk with easy access to the City of Norwich with its first class shopping malls and large open market. The market town of Beccles is close by with outdoor swimming pool, local train station with numerous shops and eating places. Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft are seaside towns only 30 minutes away, with Pleasure Beach and amusements. The popular town of Southwold with its Pier and harbour where you can buy fish freshly caught, take small boat ride to Walberswick or you can just relax on the sandy beaches is 40 minutes away. Southwold is also known for âAdnams Aleâ and the brewery is in the centre of Southwold with its own shop.
