This was our fifth stay at the Lad Lane property so we came in with high expectations and we were not disappointed! The location is perfect and the property is very well maintained. Both the owner and property manager are very responsive to all queries from making our reservation through arrival and check-in to check out. It is our favorite spot to call home when in Dublin!
Wonderful property
Well appointed comfortable and a great place to stay as you get to know the city
They provided great recommendations
Wonderful property
We loved staying at this property! Centrally located between City Centre and UCD where our daughter was studying. Elizabeth was a joy to work with. Gave us lots of recommendations and advice!
The location was perfect. If you want a quiet neighborhood but near enough to everything, stay here. Everything is within walking distance. There is also a bus stop right around the corner and never an issue getting a taxi to the apartment using the FreeNow taxi app. Apartment was super clean and warm â just lovely.
Beautiful apartment in a great location. Quiet street, lovely garden patio, and clean and comfortable inside. Great communication with owner and with Elizabeth, who greeted us at the apartment and was always available to answer questions and provide recommendations. Wonderful vacation!
This apartment was a wonderful oasis in the busy center of Dublin. Our family of four adults had plenty of room for lounging in front of the fire, playing games at the table and fixing something to eat in the mornings. The place is warm, cute and comfortable - with all sorts of little extras that make a place extra special (welcome wine, coffee, washer and dryer, dishwasher, etc.). The location for sight-seeing can't be beat! We were able to walk to all of the major sights, and the close restaurants were very good. Elizabeth streamlined our arrival and provided so much fantastic information. I would definitely stay here again.
I would highly recommend this property. It is perfect as a base to visit anywhere in Dublin, or just settle in for a great place to rest and relax after a long flight. It is exceptionally clean and a short walk to anywhere. The courtyard and patio areas are exceptionally nice for a property close to the city center.
This property was great for two couples.
We were 15 minutes away from all our tour pick ups. You could walk out the back gate and be a fantastic pub or restaurants within minutes. Highly recommend this house. The beds are very comfortable, lovely sitting room and well equipped kitchen.
We had the pleasure and opportunity to book both units at 37 Lad Lane for 6 of us. 3 of us stayed upstairs and 3 of us stayed downstairs. This property is amazing. Do yourself a favor and book it for your upcoming trip to Dublin - worth every penny!
The property was as advertised, clean with nice amenities and well maintained furnishings. Very comfortable back patio where we enjoyed a bottle of wine one evening. All communication was prompt and detailed. Would highly recommend.
There is no need to look through options in Dublin- just book this incredible condo on Lad Lane- Super clean, detailed communication, helpful recommendations, convenient neighborhood, and stocked facility. It totally has it all! If we return, we know where to stay. Thank you! Thank you!
My family and I had a wonderful experience renting this property. The owner and property manager Elizabeth were so easy to work with during the entire process of securing the property and during my whole 5 night stay. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Dublin. Mike C.
My husband and I recently stayed here with our two teenagers. It was a lovely, quiet spot very close to everything. The photos and descriptions of the property were spot on. If anything, it felt more spacious than I expected. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the outdoor spaces were lovely. The property manager met us at check in and gave us many helpful tips about how everything worked (Coming from the States the appliances are a little different). She also gave us some great restaurant recommendations. All in, this was a great spot and we would gladly stay again if we return to Dublin!
Iâve been to Ireland 8 times since my first trip in n 2019. Weâve stayed in Vrboâs and of course motels all across the country. Chez Jay one, was the âperfect stormâ of all you need in Dublin. Communication was top tier. From initial booking several months ago to to landing home in Boston they weâre always their for us to answer questions or help us navigate any that came up. The location is perfect for someone who knows Dublin, even better for those whom want to explore Dublin for thier first time. Book now! Patrick
This apartment was everything we hoped for and more. Very clean and comfortable, well stocked kitchen, great location, lots of character, and a wonderful welcome. I can't say enough about how much we loved our time in this home.
The only thing some might want to be aware of is that there is noise from the upstairs apartment- we had younger folks coming and going at all hours for much of the week, then a couple of toddlers running around. Nothing you can do about it- it is an old building, so it is to be expected.
Otherwise, all was great!
This was the perfect place for us (2 couples) to unwind and relax after a busy, two weeks tour of Scotland and Ireland. Elizabeth was great. We really appreciate the early check in, complete with welcome gift and a fresh pot of coffee. She took the time to make sure we understood everything about the apartment and the surrounding neighborhood. We took her suggestions on local places to eat and weâre happy we did. The apartment is lovely and looks exactly as pictured in the listing. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us. Very comfortable and in walking distance to grocery stores and numerous shops and restaurants as well as several notable tourist sites We highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.
Charming, modern finished flat in convenient, lovely neighborhood
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, spacious apartment in what used to be a stable for the lovely Georgian homes in this area of town. Modern finishes. We also enjoyed the spacious outdoor courtyard area for reading and enjoying the long summer light at the end of our busy days. Elizabeth was outstanding in terms of communication in advance and during our stay. We were grateful for her kindness and resourcefulness in getting to me important documents I had left in a drawer. She was welcoming and lovely to chat with on many topics, including offering many helpful suggestions for activities in the neighborhood and beyond. She also was in immediate contact when there was a neighborhood power outage, which was quickly remedied. An outstanding rental. I would stay there again the next time I come to Dublin.
Everything about this property is perfection. We spent 10 days at Chez Jay and felt completely at home in this stylish and comfortable apartment. The home is well appointed with comfortable beds, hot showers, washer/dryer, dishwasherâŠeverything you could hope for. The location was ideal⊠situated in the beautiful Georgian Core of Dublin. Itâs walking distance to restaurants, parks, and countless tourist attractions. If you wish to venture further to cute coastal townsâŠitâs just a pretty 10 minute walk along the Grand Canal to the Dart station for easy transportation. The hidden gem of this property is Elizabeth who greets you upon arrival. Her insights on the apartment and activities/restaurants around Dublin were invaluable. Such a helpful, friendly, wonderful host. This is now the only place we want to stay if/when we return to Dublin.
This apartment is beautiful, very well appointed, clean, quiet and in a great location, within walking distance of the best of Dublin. Our only complaint is that one of the two showers does not work, which created a significant bottleneck in the mornings. The owner knows of the problem, as we were told of it upon arrival. If this problem was addressed, this unit would definitely by five stars.
The unit is located in a business district, but there are still plenty of restaurants and bars close by, although many close a little earlier than normal.
