The perfect place to stay in Temple Bar

Fantastic to use as a base for visiting Dublin. We grabbed food from nearby and had a lovely lunch on the roof terrace. Beds were lovely, sofa was so cosy to relax on.Will definitely stay here next time we are in Dublin!Thank You

Lovely apartment

The apartment is airy, light and comfortable. Temple Bar neighborhood is quite loud, crowded and boisterous until around 2am. Music venue close by rocks the walls. As we are all past frat age, probably wouldn’t have stayed if we’d known the location. For party animals of all age, great place.

Really cute apartment with great location

This was a great place to stay after landing from our long trip. Easy access to so much of Dublin that is very walkable. Lovely huge patio! Not a quiet area at night if that matters to you but such fun to be so close to so much lively Irish culture.

Great Location

First, the owner is very responsive to communications. Check in was only slightly chaotic. We were asked to meet the cleaning lady, Maria at a bar near the apartment to obtain the keys and info. We asked locals but were unable to locate that bar (it is literally a couple of doors from the apartment). Maria is fantastic and very accommodating. We sent her a visual of our location and she walked to meet us. Note: Take the Wellington Quay exit if on an airport express bus. Upon arriving at the apartment we noticed the online photos were a bit deceiving. The wood floors were dull and lifeless. The entry hall is narrow. The furniture is worn with a wobbly dinning room table and tilted chairs causing you to maneuver to stay seated. The sofa is green and completely different from that pictured. It too is worn and not inviting with sunken pillows. The floors and plants were dusty, causing my allergies to explode daily. The rooms were very cold as the heat was scheduled twice a day. There is a button for additional heating time, but we were respectful of the owner's energy costs and rarely used it. If you shower in the morning be prepared for a cold one. Well, you could push that button. All in all, we enjoyed the location as it is in the heart of everything with awesome food choices, including vegan! TESCO and Supervalu marts are also nearby. Just be prepared for loud noise at night as the apartment literally looks down onto a popular pub.

Perfect Location

Recently stayed at this property while on vacation and had a wonderful time! The location is perfect - it's within walking distance to just about everything and as fortune had it, we were able to check in early (which meant so much as we just got off a red-eye).The communication leading up to and throughout the stay was great. The space was nice and clean and there were plenty of amenities. I was initially worried about the location, but actually felt very safe. Overall, would recommend!

Perfect location in vibrant Temple Bar Dublin

Clean and comfortable in the vibrant Temple Bar area. I was travelling with my 20 year old son to see concerts at the Button Factory. Lots of light and nicely contemporary and comfortable decor. We were met at the property by an employee of the owner, who walked us through all the features, and left us with two sets of keys (always helpful). Everything is walkable, from the National Gallery, Book of Kells, Dublin Castle, Olympia Theater, Photo Museum, Temple Bar, Chester Beatty, Trinity College. It isnt just walkable - you are in the middle of everything, (I’m a suburbs person so this was refreshing). Despite the bustle nearby, the unit has privacy and is tucked above the fray on a narrow pedestrian street. The food choices are almost overwhelming, from a vegan cafe next door to Indian, tons of pubs, Buzz cafe, Italian, tea shops and more. The checkout process was super-easy. Exceptional communication with the owner.

A home from home in a great location

We really enjoyed staying in the penthouse during our time in Dublin for the marathon. The location was perfect being right in the centre but also quiet enough to rest well. Our hosts Orla and Noel were very welcoming and communicated with us very well. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to stay again when visiting Dublin in the future.

Best Location for Dublin

You couldn’t get a better location for seeing Dublin. This property was exceptional and walking distance to everything. Hosts kept constant contact even a year ahead. Never had a question unanswered. Best time ever.

Our perfect Dublin stay for Coldplay!

My mum and I stayed for two nights in this lovely apartment in Temple Bar last week and we couldn't of been happier! It was our first time here and Orla and Maria the lovely cleaner who let us in couldn't of been more helpful. We had clear and regular communication before hand, we knew exactly where we needed to be. The apartment is lovely, on the 4th floor, above some sort of small venue but to be honest we were out late having fun anyway both nights! (So didn't notice any noise) We slept in both mornings and could only hear the seagulls in the back ground which was nice! Apartment clean and both rooms spacious, instructions for hot water and heating, all kitchen amenities and large dining area with a very comfy sofa. All beautifully decorated and furnished inside too. We spent lots of time in The Temple Bar which was our favourite for live music and the 2nd night we saw Coldplay (Epic!) Definitely recommend staying in this apartment!

Weekend Dublin stay

Just finished a lovely weekend at Orla’s place. Everything was as described and checkin was easy with Orla on hand to meet us. The apartment is lovely and spacious and had a lovely terrace area. The location is also ideal for the Temple Bar and surrounding sites. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect location

The apartment is perfectly located in Temple Bar. We could easily walk to anything we needed and wanted-restaurants, pubs, groceries, etc…. Although we were in the heart of Temple Bar, there was very little noise that reached the apartment. Yay. Nothing is better that a quiet nights rest after a good day full of Guinness! The apartment was fully stocked, and then some. If you are like us, from the US, there are some differences in the water pump and heating systems. Be prepared for the towel radiators to be very warm when they are on and there are no outlets in the bathrooms for hair dryers. That is just the way it is. Planning ahead and using the windows and the patio doors strategically will help keep the apartment cool enough on warm days. The washing machine is perfect for small loads of laundry. There is no electric clothes dryer, but using an extra spin and placing the supplied drying rack under the skylight will dry your cloths in no time at all. When we return to Dublin, we would gladly stay in this apartment again.

Perfect 2BR/2ba in desirable temple bar area! Within walking distance to several pubs and local attractions. Very clean and comfortable place with amazing rooftop terrace. Orla was kind and friendly and quick to respond! Lovely experience

This property is a great find !!! In a central location near to temple polar with everything within walking distance. Great comms from Orla and her husband Noel met us at the property on the day of arrival to show us around the apartment. Could not have asked for more, we will certainly be staying again .

Fabulous

My friends and I stayed four nights in July. The location couldn’t be better! Close to everything - bars and restaurants, easy walk to museum, beautiful park. We did a cool historic ghost tour and it started a block away. We couldn’t have been happier with the location, the cleanliness, the ease of check-in, and the communication with the host. We’d definitely stay here again on a return trip. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio, and the beds were really good, too. Highly recommend!!

Its served its purpose

Overall the experience was fine. The Temple Bar neighborhood itself is more appropriate for a younger crowd. The building itself was very secure. But once leaving it was sketchy at best. Significant amount of homeless traffic in the area and two doors down from the entrance was a roulette strip club (??). Anyway. Our host Orla did a fine job though I wish we had picked a better area for our stay
