Best location in Dublin City!
A fabulous redbrick townhouse built in 1884, located on a quiet residential street with views of the grand canal. Recently modernized and renovated offers high spec living accommodation. Two bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms, an open plan sitting/dining room with a light filled kitchen. Dedicated workspace. Sleeps 6 people, living room has a sofa bed, plus full bathroom downstairs.
Location 💚, Location 💚, Location💚!
Portobello is an historic neighborhood of Dublin city, only 20-minute walk to Grafton street and St Stephens green. 5-minute walk to the Camden quarter with its abundance of trendy restaurants and pubs.
This is our home and not a sterile holiday/Vacation rental, we have furnished and decorated it to a very high standard, you will love this house as much as we do. Strictly no parties, this is a quiet residential street.
On street parking is available, please let us know if you will have a car and we will provide you with a parking permit.
We have received all 5 star reviews, 100% of guests would stay again.

Stay in Dublin

This was a great place to stay and one that I would recommend to anybody. The description of the rental was accurate and it was very clean. The location was good and just a quick Uber ride to anywhere we wanted to see. We would stay here again the next time in Dublin.

5 star review for good reason

Our stay was excellent. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The location is fantastic. There are some great restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and sights right in the neighborhood. I highly recommend the Brindle Coffee and Wine on Lennox and the Portobello Bar. Communication with Paul was excellent and his instructions and tips are very thourough. The unit itself has everything you could want including the parking permits that allow us to park within 10 meters of the front door. If I stay in Dublin on my next trip I will certainly stay here again.

Great stay in Dublin

Paul's place really had all the comforts of home in Europe - we checked in later and were unable to find a grocery store open loved that there was coffee for morning. Well decorated, enough bathrooms, washer/dryer and the heated toilet seats added plus :)! Close to activities in Dublin as well - would definitely recommend and come back! Thank you!

Perfect Christmas Holiday

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The accommodations were as described and pictured. The three bathrooms, washer/dryer, and kitchen were highlights for us. The location seemed safe and close to a neat neighborhood with food, drink, and stores. Paul gave us great recommendations and was always responsive. We walked to all attractions in Dublin without an issue. I highly recommend this property!

This property was absolutely beautiful! A great location right next to the canal in a quiet but very assessable part of the city. Charming Flat

My family and I had a great stay for three days over New Years. We were traveling with my in-laws and my 7 and 4 year old children. The flat was beautiful, spacious, and modern. The showers were the best we had on our European trip and the kitchen was great (even fully stocked with spices). The futon was comfortable (we gave the kids the second bedroom so we could have a place to hang out when they went to bed). We also loved the neighborhood - some great cafes and pubs were walking distance). We would highly recommend for your stay in Dublin.

Feels like home

Outstanding property! Highly recommend. The home is filled with every amenity you can think of. Unpack and you’re home. Paul communicates effectively and provides all of the details necessary to have a successful stay and vacation. Location great, many pubs and restaurants within walking distance. St. Patrick’s Cathedral, a 20 minute walk where you can get on the Hop On Hop Off bus to see all the attractions and shops. No car needed! Stay here, you will not be disappointed!

Home away from home

Dublin was our last stop of 4 locations and this townhouse was by far the most welcoming and comfortable place we stayed. Paul was amazing to work with—patient, quick communicator, and a host of very helpful details. The townhouse had exceptionally comfortable beds and the three full bathrooms were very well appointed. The renovations made by Paul are beautiful, functional and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Urban/Suburban Neighborhood Feel

This property is located outside of the main touristy areas and allows you to feel like a local. It still gives you all the access and ease of walking around Dublin, but feels like a cool neighborhood. The host was super to work with and the property was well represented by the pictures. Light, bright, clean and great layout (and enough bathrooms - a whopping 3). The kitchen was wonderful as well, very well stocked. This felt like a home away from home.

AMAZING!

I can not express enough how amazing this pace is. The update that was done to the flat is beyond amazing. If you rent this flat you will not e disappointed. It is also in a great location, lots in walking distance. On top of it all, the owners of the property and the easiest to work with. They are very very accommodating. Thanksgiving in Dublin!

Our family of 5 had a comfortable stay at Paul’s place. Finding a space with 3 bathrooms set this place apart from many other listings. The interior has been completely remodeled and every amenity was provided. Lovely setting on a corner overlooking the canal. Short 5 min walk to bakery, pub and public transportation- get a LEAP card - tap and go! So easy. The apartment is compact but well designed and offers adequate places to relax on a couch or at table to chat or eat. My husband especially liked the office desk space near the kitchen to use his computer in a comfortable desk chair. We would highly recommend staying here. So clean, cozy and comfortable! The host was excellent at communicating and provided lots of useful tips for our stay. Don’t hesitate to book Paul’s place!

Pristine place in Portobello

This stunning 2 bedroom 3 bathroom home is finished to the highest standard I have ever seen in a short term rental unit. It was spotlessly clean and had a renter's manual that was thoughtfully compiled. We stayed for a week and only used the car once to do the big shop on the day we arrived. The neighbourhood is alive with shops and restaurants, but this home is on a quiet residential street just beside the canal. If you are looking for a stylish, sophisticated place with a private outdoor patio, this is it.

Fantastic place, fantastic location

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Paul was a super host and provided plenty of information prior to arrival. The instructions on how to access the home and recommendations about the neighborhood were easy to follow and understand. We were able to park our car on the street nearby and walk all over Dublin to explore. This location is super convenient for checking out city center/tourist spots, and south of Dublin as well. The inside of the home is clean and modern with all updated appliances and bathrooms. Everything you need is in the kitchen if you want to cook or stay in. It also had an adorable outside terrace and seating area, which we were lucky enough to get some sun while we were there.

Great stay over St Patrick’s Weekend ‘24.

Our family of four stayed for four nights at Paul’s over St Patrick’s Day weekend (March ‘24) We did have a heat issue on the first night but we were very impressed with it being sorted out promptly making the rest of our stay very comfortable. My son stayed on the pull out sofa, there were plenty of towels and three bathrooms with lovely hot toilet seats. There is everything you will need at this place - lots of beautiful dishes, food staples, lots of soaps (dish, personal and household), technology (plenty of adapters, Netflix and other streaming services) that made for ease and enjoyment. Paul was always responsive and it felt like staying at a friend’s home. We liked the space and would stay there again. Thanks kindly.

Beautiful Dublin apartment

The apartment was beautiful and newly redone. It had all the amenities one needs. There were plenty of dishes, a full size fridge, dishwasher. washer and separate dryer. It had a Spacious living and dining area with an outside patio. Both bedrooms were nicely furnished with each having its own ensuite bathroom. There are Plenty of sheets, blankets and pillows. There is even a fan in each bedroom and a small magnifying makeup mirror in the master bathroom. The owner takes pride in the property. Situated in a great area next to a canal. Quiet at night and only a 20-30 minute walk to many attractions. Lots of pubs, restaurants and groceries stores within 10-20 minutes walking distance. Would highly recommend this apartment for anybody travelling to Dublin
