Very central but quiet. You do need too negotiate some steep roads and steps, but this is Taormina.
Great location and a lovely apartment with plenty of equipment in the kitchen for making dinner etc. well equipped and clean rooms with everything you would need. We took our 92 year old mum and she loved it - even though there are many steep steps up from town.
