Quirky and great!
The house had all the amenities listed however communication was a bit awkward. I booked through VRBO and never had any direct comms with the owner. I then joined Sykes after getting several emails from them and it was not clear how to contact anyone until after we checked in and read the welcome book. When we arrived we learned it was attached to another home with the same address (#1 and #2) and it wasn't clear which was ours. We distrubed/scared the other family vactioning as we thought they were in the house we should've been and we arrived later in the evening. NOTE: 1 Minafon is on the LEFT side of the house - to the left of the mailbox. #2 is to the right. There were a couple issues such as no way to light the fire place (no matches or lighter), a broken shampoo bottle (which I only wanted to report so I wasn't charged), a banging radiator that we just turned off and hoped for the best (seemed fine), and lots of cobwebs throughout. The place was obviously clean and cared for just oddly full of cobwebs in spots.That being said we LOVED the property and would return. It is quirkly, comfy, beautifully located, and generally well-appointed. The hot tub was very clean and we could wash our clothes in the washer! The creek and road were fantastic to explore. I think the communication issues were because we booked through VRBO and also just cultural. Europeans are more of a 'figure it out and go with the flow' bunch and once we embraced that we loved it.
