The Space:

Welcome to Downs Valley House, a charming three-bedroom retreat on the outskirts of Brighton, perfect for an unforgettable stay. Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood within walking distance of the South Downs, this home allows you to explore scenic countryside trails while staying close to Brighton’s vibrant attractions.



Step inside to find a bright, English country-style living room that exudes warmth and comfort, featuring a cozy fireplace as the centerpiece. Adjacent is the welcoming dining room, a space designed for memorable gatherings with family and friends over delicious meals.



One of the home’s highlights is the large, sunny garden. With a private patio and two comfortable sun loungers, this space invites relaxation, whether you’re dining al fresco, reading, practicing yoga, or simply soaking in the tranquil surroundings.



The bedrooms offer flexibility and comfort: a king-sized room, a double room, and a twin room with two singles. Each room is filled with natural light and features zen-inspired decor, ensuring restful sleep with beds dressed in white cotton sheets and hotel-quality linens.



The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for cooking, with complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, and cooking essentials, as well as glassware, cookware, and cutlery to make you feel at home. Please note that the top oven in the kitchen is not in use, however the main oven is available for guests to use along with an air fryer. The contemporary family bathroom and ensuite both offer walk-in showers, and we provide complimentary guest toiletries, as well as an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer for added convenience.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to the whole house privately to themselves for the dates of their stay.



There is off street parking for two vehicles at the property.

For international visitors, Gatwick Airport is just a 30-minute train ride away, while Heathrow Airport can be reached by a convenient coach or train journey.

If you’re travelling by coach, National Express operates services from London, Heathrow, and other major UK cities, typically arriving at Pool Valley Coach Station, a short walk from the beach and city centre. Driving to Brighton is straightforward, with the A23 linking it directly to London and the M25, while the A27 connects Brighton with towns along the south coast. However, parking in Brighton can be limited, especially in the city centre. Many visitors find it easier to park at one of the city’s Park & Ride locations or in one of the larger car parks outside the central area.
