2-Bed cosy cottage in a quiet market town, south facing views
A small quiet cottage on the outskirts of Faringdon, rustic furniture throughout, enclosed cottage garden at the rear. The room available is south facing with lovely views of the garden. The room features a double bed, furniture, a television and wifi. Faringdon is a small market town in west Oxfordshire. The house is five minutes walk from the market square. There are three large supermarkets and many smaller shop in the market square. The town has many traditional pubs and a few restaurants. Within the town is a picturesque Norman church and a 1930's brick folly located on the hilltop with wonderful views of the countryside. There is also Faringdon House, Buscot House, Great Coxwell Barn and Badbury Hill in the vicinity. (Stately homes, tithe barn and a hillort).
The place wasnât bad, but thereâs a mistake in the description of the house â itâs actually a B&B. The owner sleeps in the living room, and it should be clearly stated that he stays in the same house. The house is small, and if you book it for a family of six, it feels cramped. Honestly, I felt uncomfortable knowing the owner was sleeping in the living room. I thought I had booked the entire house, but that wasnât the case.
