Barney's Beach House - Ocean Front - Cour clôturée pour chiens - Wrap Around Deck

C'est la vie en bord de mer à son meilleur! Trois chambres, 2 bains et une buanderie. Trois chambres complètes; une avec un lit king et une salle de bain principale, une autre avec un lit queen et la troisième chambre avec 4 lits superposés. La maison peut accueillir 8 personnes et dispose de lits pour 8 personnes. Toutes les chambres ont HDTV et DirecTV.

Grands espaces de vie confortables, tous avec une excellente vue sur l'océan. Grande cuisine avec comptoirs en granit et appareils en acier inoxydable. Ai-je mentionné le très grand pont enveloppant à 360 degrés où vous pouvez regarder les enfants jouer dans les vagues? Profitez de votre vue et voyez si vous pouvez apercevoir les dauphins juste devant votre porte d'entrée!

La maison dispose également d'une grande cour arrière entièrement clôturée de 70x100, avec accès depuis le boîtier d'escalier arrière. Les invités qui amènent leurs chiens n'ont qu'à ouvrir la porte arrière et laisser leurs animaux de compagnie faire leurs affaires sans avoir à les promener. Rien de plus simple lorsque vous voyagez avec vos chiens! La grande cour est entièrement gazonnée et entièrement clôturée et fermée pour que vos enfants et vos invités puissent jouer en toute sécurité. Il y a aussi un foyer, un banc et un barbecue de style parc dans la cour arrière clôturée pour votre plaisir. En prime, la maison est située au bout de la route; pas de circulation et pas de bruit, juste une visite tranquille et paisible!

Great family vacation spot!

We brought our 2 year old and golden retriever for a few days to Barney’s beach house. The location is right off the beach, the home was amazing and the backyard was fenced in so it was perfect for our dog. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back.

Delightful dog friendly family beach getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barney's Beach House. It was the perfect venue to relax and enjoy the beach with our dogs. The location is perfect, with nothing obstructing the beautiful view of the gulf. The home is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated and equipped. We look forward to a return visit.

We loved our stay at Barney's Beach House! We were looking for a spot that would be easy with our dogs, and we couldn't have found a better place. The back stairs that go down directly into the fenced yard was perfect. There were no grass burrs in the fenced yard, which can be a problem in Boliver. The house was cute and clean, and the access to the beach was very easy. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs, and the beds were comfortable. We stayed for a week, and wished we could've stayed longer! Adrianna was extremely easy to communicate with and super friendly on top of that! We will definitely want to stay here again!

Best beach house for our family and fur babies!

We were pleasantly surprised by this house. It was perfect! Not only for us but our 2 Labs as well. The house is cozy and charming. Clean and well decorated. The beach access could not have been any better! The host/owner was very nice and accommodating. Can’t wait to go back!

It was as described and it was a good location. The only complaint I had was the bedding did not appear clean as there were drool stains on the pillow cases. Other than that it was a nice property

Outstanding location! Lovely house!

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was great! Beautiful house, great lay out, great views. My only complaint which isn't a big one but on master bedroom and bathroom there is no lock on doors for privacy when sharing the house with others. But everything else was perfect, we will be back next year!!!

It's funny what you wrote about the locks on the doors. I was just saying the exact same thing to my husband the other day. He said it wasn't necessary. It's not the first time a husband is wrong! Beautiful house

This place has everything you would need and more. Plenty of towels and bedding. The set up is perfect for kids to run and play on the wrap around porch. Beautiful views inside and out Thehost is very accommodating and responds very quickly to emails or texts.

Another Great Visit to Barney's

We keep coming back to stay at Barney's. I have lost track of how many times we have visited. The house is always clean and kept up to date. You are only steps away from the beach on the quiet end of the peninsula. And, the large porch is great for lounging. The owner is very responsive and the house is stocked with anything that you might need.

Holiday at Barney's Beach House Memorial Weekend 2023

View was spectacular right on the beach. It is dog friendly, but this property takes dog friendly to another level.Our two dogs loved it the deck was completely around house and there is a gate that accesses a stairway that leads them downstairs to a huge backyard with grass that is completely fenced and safe .Dogs loved it because they could see everything, surf,birds and the people on the beach .It is a very quiet and relaxing location.House was very nice inside and had all the amenities needed.We will definitely return it is amazing to us that we have access to this so close to Houston. Adrianna whom is the owner made it very easy for us to come. Thank You Tommy and Debbie Houston, Texas U.S.A.

Great stay for us and our dogs!

We really loved the house/property/location. The house, outdoor space, and broad views of the beach and the Gulf were better than expected. The wrap-around deck with access for the dogs to the backyard was great. The backyard was treated and well kept so the dogs didn't get burrs/stickers in their paws like they do in so many paces by the beach. The dogs also loved being able to scope the area from up on the deck. The outdoor space is most important to us and it had lots of shaded or sunny space at all times to relax and enjoy the beach/sea. The outdoor shower plus a few hoses made it easy to rinse ourselves and the dogs off after going to the beach. It was very fast and easy to get to/from the beach, so we didn't need to lug a bunch of stuff with us. The beds were comfortable and the appliances were all modern and functional. The views from the bedroom, kitchen and living room were all great. The host did a spectacular job of answering our questions and making sure everything went smoothly from booking through departure. Overall a great experience and we're definitely planning to return.

Best Rental on Bolivar

This is our second visit to Barney's and we will return again. The house is located in a quieter area of the beach, but still not far from the restaurants and the Big Store. The views are great, the porch is huge, and the beach access is just steps away. The house is cozy, always clean, and has everything that you need. Adrianna is wonderful. She is attentive and goes out of her way to make sure that your stay is great.

We had a great time at Barney’s Beach House! It was perfect for four adults and three children. Loved the amenities and there were beach towels! Sat on the deck and watched the kids and grandkids playing on the beach for hours. Thank you so very much.

The house was comfortable and a perfect location! Quiet spot of the uncrowded beach. We don't have dogs but if you do then Barney's Beach House is a pet parents dream!!! We would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful beach house and outstanding service!

Communication is key with us and we were not disappointed. Every question was answered to our satisfaction. The beach house was the perfect size for us. My daughters loved the bunkbeds and the pictures of fish! Thank you to the “mermaid” who made my daughters’ stay very memorable! My mom couldn’t get enough of the fabulous view. My wife and I enjoyed the organization of the home as well as the location. We enjoyed the quiet as most houses around us were not for rent. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place.

July 4th Family Vacation!

This beautiful piece of property sits facing the Gulf. The home was beautifully decorated, but also warm and welcoming. The owner supplied everything that we needed and even more that we had never thought of! She called us personally to make certain that we had everything we needed. In addition, she told me about the best places to shop and visit. She stated that she wanted us to have a wonderful time while we were staying there and to let her know if there was anything else that we needed. At the end of our trip, I told her that I genuinely would like to purchase her lovely home, as my husband and I had fallen in love with it. She was very sweet, but said that she couldn't do that as she loved it, too. She is now helping us find another piece of property that we can purchase so that we, too, will be able to live in this last piece of beach paradise. And I have found a new friend! It doesn't get much better than that.

Loved it! Perfect for Dogs!

So much to love about this place! Of course we came for the just-steps-away beach access and the ocean views from the giant deck. But our dogs really loved playing fetch in the HUGE fenced-in backyard. It's bigger than our backyard at home! As a bonus, the owner is awesome too!

Family vacay at Barneys Beach House

We had a great family vacation at Barneys Beach House. Just steps from the beach we had our first vacay with two infants and 3 dogs. It was in a beautiful location and we had the best view from the balcony. The wrap around deck was perfect for the dogs and the fenced in back yard was a huge plus. The breeze, sunrises, sunsets, coffee on the front deck, walks on the beach, cooking, grilling, playing with the grandgirls, jeep rides and sharing good conversation made this a perfect trip. Thank you for the best hospitality! I really appreciated the quick responses to questions and follow-up with stuff I left behind. Thank you for everything!

Perfect for pet owners

Great layout with ocean view from all rooms. There are hoses on the deck which make rinsing the dogs after beach time very easy. Well-equipped kitchen and full size washer/dryer are very convenient. Hostess has laminated instructions and labels everywhere which take the guesswork out of everything. We will stay here again. P.S. Bring plenty of bug spray or the gnats and mosquitoes will carry you away.

Great place to get away

Properties are not on top of each other. There is a direct view of the ocean. Loved the decking all the way around the house but especially on the front for viewing the ocean, the ships coming and going and just the sounds of the ocean waves. The place was clean and well equipped. We will definitely be booking this place again.

Welcome to our home! We have been vacationing here since the house was built in 2014. Last year the owners asked us if we were interested in owning the home we loved visiting; we said Yes! Yes, our last name is Gilchrist, like the town the house resides in and that has made this a special place for us. Welcome to you from all of us, Including Barney, our Jack Russell!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

It's comfortable and quiet, especially during the week. The views are breathtaking and tranquil. There is nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. When you first walk into the house you immediately feel at home. I think what makes this property unique is a few things. First, It's three years old and impeccably built. Second, I'd have to say the view and third, is the convenience of letting your dogs in and out. We have three dogs and have vacationed all over Galveston before finding this house. Walking three dogs up and down the stairs individually on a leash would take forever (and did!). The former owner built this property with dogs in mind. You open the gate, the dogs run downstairs into a fully gated area and come up when finished. At night, walk out the back door, flip on the back lights and it's that easy.

This is the ONLY home in the area that has a 360 degree wrap around porch with 2 exits (front and back)! We offer a fully fenced in back yard that is accessible from the deck. If you are interested in renting a golf cart, we recommend: Texas Custom Carts, the owner is Greg Smith, his number is 512-917-8515. Greg rents 4 and 6 seater golf carts and delivers them to the front door! Just tell him that you are staying at "Barney's Beach House".
