The open-plan living area has double glass doors out onto a private balcony with panoramic lake views. There is a table and chairs so guests can enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine whilst taking in their stunning surroundings. Back inside, the living room is elegantly furnished with a sofa, flat-screen TV and a dining room plus an open-plan kitchen. The kitchen itself is well-equipped with an induction hob, oven,toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer and coffee machine.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom, furnished with a king-size double bed and a wardrobe has a private balcony with a table and chairs – ideal for morning coffee.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a wardrobe.

Location
In beautiful, verdant landscape, the apartment’s location combines stunning hillside walks with easy access to the charming towns on the lakeshore.

The town of Lesa (5 minutes) has all the amenities guest might need, including supermarkets and smaller shops. There is a weekly market (Thursday mornings) for fresh local produce. The lakeside promenade, the Lungolago Lesa is a wonderful walk at any time of day. Visitors can also rent boats and enjoy the beaches. The Spiaggia dell’Erno (11 minutes) is particularly popular.

Stresa (13 minutes) is a charming resort town right on the lake. It is known for its art deco villas and palazzi. Spend the day exploring the Borromean Islands with a hop-on-hop-off boat trip or visit the Friday morning market for the best local ingredients to cook at home.

For more sporty guests the Iles des Borromées golf course is just 11 minutes away. Otherwise, there are many fine treks through the forests and meadows close by.

Milan’s international Malpensa airport is a 55-minute drive.
