My parents spent 4 nights here while in London for my wedding. The property had everything necessary for a pleasent stay in a compact space. The owner was very helpful, and went out of her way to purchase an additional fan for my parents to deal with the heat.

Excellent property! Has a private sitting area outside that is awesome. Sophie went above & beyond giving me directions & assisting me get around during recent tube strike. Property very clean. Convenient to Lidl grocery & small eating establishments. Very close to bus & train stations.

Best Stay in London

I enjoyed staying at this place! Very clean and it offers everything you might need. It’s located in a quiet backyard but close to shops and Supermarkets. Public Transport is also close. You will need ~45-60 Minutes to City Center. Totally recommanded!

Wonderful stay

You’ll have everything you need here. Sophie was attentive and thought of everything you would need whilst traveling. There’s a cute neighborhood cat that frequents the garden and it felt very homely and comfortable. The place was super clean and everything was new.

Outstanding experience. The place is charming, comfortable and immaculately clean. Very private, sunny and you pass through a lovely garden on the way. The neighborhood has all the things you need and it’s only a 12 minute walk to the Streatham train station. Sophie is an exceptional host. She is really sweet, warm and welcoming. She is very good at communicating and offering up anything you need. The shower is large, the kitchen is well-equipped and having a washing machine made all the difference It made me so happy to stay in such a beautiful place with such a lovely host. I came to visit a friend who’s expecting her first child in December. When I come back again after the baby is born, this is where I will stay.

Small, charming studio with private outdoor area, clean and functionally furnished. Very good connection to public transport. Very attentive landlady Food markets in the immediate vicinity We enjoyed our stay of 5 days very much, everything was uncomplicated, the accommodation is highly recommended and fully met our expectations.

Excellent accommodation; you just need to think about your travel options

I stayed in this property in early October 2024. I was really impressed with the accommodation. It had everything I needed and was well looked after. Additionally, the owner responded to my questions quickly and accurately. My only word of caution concerns the transportation side of things. If you want to go into central London, you really need to use the overground train (from Streatham Hill) rather than the Tube. I didn't realise this initially and ended up walking from Tooting Bec Tube station, with all my bags. I was VERY sweaty by the time I arrived. Didn't make that mistake again!

Hi Mark - I’m so sorry - just for future reference Streatham is about 6 miles from the centre of London. We are 2 minutes walk from Streatham High Street, with a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Transport links Streatham Station - approximately 7 minutes walk with direct trains to London and Wimbledon (3stops away). Trains can be caught to Luton, Stansted and Gatwick Airports with one change. Underground 10 minutes bus journey - Tooting Bec, 249 or 319 bus, Brixton 109, 159,250 bus. Every few minutes buses go to Brixton which is 5 stops from Oxford Circus on Victoria Line. Tooting Bec buses less frequent approx 7 mins. Underground to Heathrow approximately 1 hour. Parks in local area Tooting Common with largest outdoor swimming pool in Europe -Tooting Lido, cafe and tennis courts. Streatham Common with the beautiful Rookery at the top, views over London and lovely cafe . 159 bus takes you to Imperial War museum, parliament Square,Big Ben Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street and Marble Arch. Tooting Market with bars and trendy restaurants bus 333 worth it buzzing and lively at night. Brixton market very similar - take any bus to Brixton. 319 bus to fashionable Kings Road and Kensington with the Natural History Museum and Science Museum.

Peaceful and well equipped property

Beautifully finished and furnished. Lots of reclaimed items and almost all natural materials. Equipped with everything you could want including condiments and oil. Bigger than I expected from the pictures. I am particularly sensitive to noise but once you closed the door you could only hear the birds (except when next door's children are out or the dogs the other side but they weren't out for long). I usually have to unplug fridges in bedrooms but this one was very quiet.Lidl very close as well as other supermarkets and local shops and close to two mainline stations with lots of buses.I enjoyed sitting in the garden reading but there is also a large table should you need to work while there. The wifi was excellent.The only slight negative was that I had trouble opening the key safe, Maybe instructions should be given in the welcome email? I've never seen one with a button and a wheel before so had no idea what order to use them in.Sophie was very welcoming and keen to provide anything I might need although I can't think what more could be needed.

I had the pleasure of staying in the lovely accommodation for 6 nights and I could not have felt more at home. The accommodation is in the rear garden of a property on a quiet side street off Streatham Hill Road. There is plenty of FREE on street parking on the door step, this I think is a great bonus for the area. It has it’s own private patio area fenced off from the rest of the property to give you complete privacy. Outside there is also patio furniture that can be used when the weather is warm and sunny. Access to the property is through a set of patio doors that lead straight to the sleeping area with a very comfortable double bed. The kitchenette has everything that you could really want in terms of staying away from home. Portable hot plate, microwave, washing machine and iron. There is also large fridge freezer to keep groceries nice and fresh. There is plenty of crockery, pots and pans and cutlery available as well. Something that is definitely not provided in many properties of this type. The bathroom has a lovely shower and plenty of storage space if you need it. Sophie the host cannot do enough to provide what you need. Offering to change bedding mid-week if required and swapping the duvet for a thinner cooler one when the Summer finally arrived. Communication regarding the collection of keys and checking in to see everything was ok was excellent. I can recommend this place enough.

I’m a teacher and love living in South London as it is multicultural and has a great vibe. Loads of green spaces as I love the outdoors - love gardening, dancing, reading, music and strength training

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Love the abundance of parks and great places to have a drink, eat or go out dancing. Tooting and Brixton markets and Battersea Powerstation nearby too! Short bus ride to Brixton where it’s 5 stops to the West End! Victoria is close too with theatres and train and coach stations. Train to London Bridge from Streatham.. Everything is close but very quiet area at home you can hear the birds singing!

It is down the end of the garden with no houses close to it so really private and secluded - 5star reviews form everyone who has stayed in the little studio!
