Welcome to the Classroom Lodge, a delightful one-bedroom former primary school classroom that has been thoughtfully converted into a couples retreat. Recently renovated for 2024, the lodge boasts a well-presented kitchen/living area, king size bedroom and modern bathroom.The main living area features comfortable sofa seating, smart TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi for your stay, along with outdoor terrace, perfect for quieter summer evenings with a view across the nearby fields.The fully fitted kitchen is ideal for self-catered stays, equipped with dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, oven, and breakfast bar. There are plenty of scenic walks to discover right from the doorstep. We host two classroom lodges on site, each accommodating up to two guests, and can be booked together for groups of four. The outside basketball court and grassed areas are shared with the other lodge on site, and the owners who live in the adjacent Old School House.Nestled in a rural position offering stunning views of the rolling Devonshire countryside, the property enjoys a convenient location just 10 minutes from the A30 and near the village of Ashwater, boasting local shops and a pub. Roadford Lake is a mere 5-minute drive away, offering scenic walks, water activities, and a cafe. Bude, with its beautiful beaches, restaurants, and walks, is a short 18-mile drive.
