Narracott Down rests in South Molton and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
Narracott Down has super-king-size (zip/link can be twin on request) with en-suite walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, and one ground-floor king-size (zip/link can be twin on request). There's a ground-floor bathroom with P-shaped bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC. There’s an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and sofa bed. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. Highchair and travel cot available. There’s a non-enclosed front garden with patio and furniture, and private driveway parking for 6 cars. EV charging available. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. 1-acre dog field with bench. Nearest shop and pub in 2.2 miles. Explore the private 30-acre grounds at Narracott Down. The nature reserve is a sanctuary for any homeless wild animals. The upper part of the valley is an official country wildlife site, which recognises the high biodiversity value. Private fishing available, charges are £15 per day or £40 for a week, by arrangement with the owner. Note: Lakes and fast flowing water in the grounds, parents of young children please take care. Note: Dogs permitted but to be kept on a lead for ground nesting birds and deer habiting on site. Note: EV charger available at additional cost by arrangement with the owner. Residents find the quiet charm of the area attractive and visitors soon experience the sense of civic pride held by the locals. There is superb walking on the South West Coast Path and the North Devon beaches are varied and interesting. Visit the National Trust's Watersmeet Gorge, Valley of the Rocks and the funicular cliff railway. Up on Exmoor, there are various walks to suit all abilities, as well as highlights such as Tarr Steps, Landacre Bridge and the village of Withypool. Further afield, the resorts of Ilfracombe and Combe Martin are well worth a visit, and for some of the best beaches in the country, visit Woolacombe and Saunton and Croyde.
