Both beaches boast golden sands and dunes, with Winterton-on-Sea offering designated dog-friendly areas and a 6-mile circular walk along the nature reserve, where you might spot the local seal colony. Great cycling, walking, bird watching, and golf can all be enjoyed. The famous Norfolk Broads, with the village of Potter Heigham and Wroxham to enjoy daily river trips, boat hire, shops, riverside pubs, cafés, and restaurants.



The traditional seaside town of Great Yarmouth provides amusements, a pleasure beach with thrilling rides, a wide sandy beach, waxworks, pitch and putt, and a bustling town centre with shops, markets, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants. There is also the medieval city of Norwich which boasts a stunning Norman castle, museums, cinemas, theatres, excellent shopping, and plenty of dining options. Another great place to visit is the Royal Sandringham Estate and Museum or venture into Suffolk to discover its stunning coastline.
