NEWLY REFURBISHED FULLY SELF CONTAINED STUDIO FLAT IN CENTRAL LONDON
Very clean and trendy studio flat with all important amenities 2 min walk from train station and a lot of london 's landmarks . There is a small kitchenette with a small cooker and fridge and microwave to help guests prepare small meals
Once we were able to get ahold of someone and were able to check into the property the property is great for the money! You canât beat the location! Communication is atrocious. I reached out on the app a few days before our arrival as we had not received check in instructions. We still had not received check in instructions by our arrival in London. I called and texted the owner directly with no return communication for hours. I had to reach out to VRBO and spent a ton of time I should have been enjoying my vacation figuring out how to get into the leoperty. I finally heard back from the owner AFTER check in time. Once there the management company was very nice and he helped us with our bags as we were in the top floor and there is no elevator. Overall itâs a great value for the money but they definitely need to get better with communication and checks I. Instructions.
Had to call vrbo support from overseas to get the manager to provide check in information as nothing was received up to the day prior even after sending a couple of messages via vrbo messages. âSelf containedâ unit had only enough cooking equipment to boil a few whole vegetables (no knife, cutting board, etc). Manager provided a few basics when asked, a day after being asked. The worst issue was the unstable and basically unusable wifi in our room (2 - at the very front of the building) due to poor coverage. We had to tether our devices to my mobile and use our data allowance. When advised of this the manager said he restarted the router and blamed slow speed on the number of users. This did nothing to fix the problem of poor coverage and resulting drop-outs. His response was: âno one else is complainingâ so it must be our devices. Obviously no one else would have cause to complain about the poor coverage in our room & our devices worked fine on our mobile data. The second major problem is the mattress is very soft & squeaky and lumpy. Otherwise it was adequate, if noisy from being right next to the front door so the buzzer and door closing was always noticeable.
