The Space:
Idlers Rest is the perfect spot for a relaxing break, whether it be with the family or as a couple. The magic of Cornwall’s north coast is right on your doorstep, with Perranporth Beach just 8 minutes away and St Agnes 12 minutes away. When you’re not exploring the expansive beaches, enjoy long rambles through the hills - you can set off on trails right from the door.
Inside, the cottage has been recently refurbished and to a very high standard. The open-plan kitchen, living and dining space is full of natural light yet super cosy. On cool evenings, settle into your sofa with the fire roaring. Cook up delicious homecooked meals in your contemporary kitchen - you’ll find everything you need and more. And when the sun shines, fling open your door and head out into the shared garden for a tipple at sunset.
Set all on one level, discover two lovely bedrooms along the hallway. The first has a comfortable double bed with luxurious linens, meanwhile the second is a delightful twin room. Both share a contemporary bathroom with a walk-in waterfall shower (plus the bonus of a handy machine/drier).
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole property and shared garden.
The Neighborhood:
You’ll find so much to discover from Idlers Rest, thanks to its brilliant location. The golden sands of Perranporth are just an eight-minute drive away, meanwhile Crantock and St Agnes are 12-minutes. All offer fabulous swimming, surfing and sunbathing opportunities. Plus, plenty of local pubs, restaurants, cafès and boutiques. Explore the beautiful South West Coastal path and soak up the sparkling coastline, equally as pretty all year round. Cider lovers will enjoy Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm, which is just down the road. Plus, there are ample National Trust properties all on the doorstep. Find more local tips and tricks in our Guest Guide, which is available upon booking.
Getting Around:
Due to the remote nature of Cornwall, we would recommend bringing a vehicle for your stay. There is free private parking for one vehicle, plus additional visitors parking.
