This delightful property is ideally situated just outside Biddenden, a picturesque Kentish village, and would suit families or couples looking for a great rural retreat. Biddenden has a host of amenities including a restaurant, a pub, a tearoom, and a convenience store. Biddenden Vineyards is only 3 minutes away, offering wine tours and tastings and nature lovers and walkers will appreciate the scenic walks right from the doorstep. Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens, (3 miles) and Tenterden (4 miles) with its charming tree-lined High Street, beckons with delightful shops, pavement cafes, and restaurants. Additionally, it serves as the starting point for the Kent & East Sussex Railway. A 5-mile drive takes you to Cranbrook, featuring a windmill, a museum, and an assortment of independent shops. Further afield visit historic Rye (14 miles) explore its cobbled streets and antique shops and the wild beauty of Camber Sands,17 miles away, perfect for paddling and sandcastle building!
This property is made up of the Main House and The Shed. The Shed has underfloor heating throughout, a bedroom with a king size bed, a shower room with a washbasin and WC, and a living area with bi-fold doors out onto a decked area with a bistro table, chairs, and a sun lounger. The living area has a large sofa and a futon and a circular dining table with 2 chairs. The sofa is a sofa bed which may be used for children/teenagers only and must be requested on booking. The Shed has lovely views across the large garden where wildlife visits on a regular basis. The Main House offers a great space for families to gather with an open plan designed living, dining, and kitchen area. The living room has a cosy wood burner where you can relax on the comfortable sofas after a busy day. The dining table is set next to the bi folding doors which lead into the garden and is the perfect setting for listening to the bird song and wildlife that frequently foray into the garden. The kitchen area has a large island with 2 bar stools and an integrated induction hob and bi folding doors, bringing the entire ground floor outside. There is a utility room with a washing machine and a dryer and an additional lockable boot room with plenty of storage space for hanging coats and walking boots. There is a ground floor bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite shower room. Upstairs you will find the master bedroom which has a super king size bed, two walk-in dressing rooms, a dressing table and views over the garden. Across the landing is a large shower room with twin washbasins, a bidet, and a WC.
The large garden, extending into a small, wooded area, is fenced on the left and has boundary fencing to the right and at the bottom of garden. There are two unfenced ponds in the garden and children and dogs should be supervised. There is a patio area with folding tables and chairs, sun loungers and sunshades. In the middle of the garden there is a campfire area with tree trunk seating arranged around the fire pit, providing the perfect blend of relaxation and outdoor enjoyment.
