Really enjoyed our stay. Convenient location to the things we wanted to do. Friendly and helpful staff at Fireside ChaletâŠ.. my ONLY complaint was the mattress in the upstairs bedroom was awfulâŠ. If you roll to the middle, you may never be seen againâŠ
The cabin was nice, it was well maintained and it fit our family perfectly. We did not try out some of the amenities - the fireplace and PS 3, but the hot tub was great for the kids and they loved the foosball table. The location is convenient to the "main drag" in Pigeon Forge and to Cades Cove which we loved.
The only suggestion I would have is that it is time to switch out the cookware in the cabin.
The cabin was very cute and comfortable. Very close to the strip in Pidgeon Forge (about 4 miles away). I had no problems with the cabin except it could have used some steps as I was too short to get into it. The bed was comfy and believe me, that was really all I needed.
Very good location, easy to get to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Slept very good. Just need update on lighting(Not bright enough), windows cleaned and dusting behind master bed. All in all was good.
Overall it was a very nice little cabin, it was clean, beds were comfortable, the subdivision was very nice and well kept. The main living area was a little smaller than I expected but it wasnât really a problem because the kids loved hanging out in the loft when we were there. One thing that couldâve made it better wouldâve been better shower heads that had a little more water pressure. We will definitely keep this cabin and complex in mind next time we travel to the area with our pup.
Our cabin was cute and it was as per pictures. It had plenty of utensils and Extra towels and blankets. I was little apprehensive after reading some of the review on cleanliness but ours was pretty clean on the inside, the bedsheet and linen were spotless. The only complaint is I wish the outside deck was swept as well as it was covered in pollen and the carpets in the family room had pet hair. Apart from those two things, we had a great time.
We had such a great time staying in this perfect little cabin. It was a beautiful property located in the scenic mountains. We enjoyed walking to the pool and checking out the nearby stream. We did not have much time to explore since we went to Dollywood 2 days (very short drive). My only complaint was the upstairs TV would not work, I believe it just wasn't getting a signal (not a big deal) and if you have small kids you may want to bring something to block off the stairs (I have a 6-year-old sleepwalker). We used the grill on the porch for burgers one night and I am still dreaming of swinging on the front porch. We look forward to coming again and making more family memories.
There wasnât anything wrong or bad about the property. Just a few things⊠this is probably the most expensive cabin Iâve stayed in (and I am VERY good at searching the BEST cabin for my price) and the cabin was mediocre at best. Everything worked but the king size bed upstairs dips in the middle, the furniture in The living room is worn, small things like shower liners need to be changed, Coffee pot could be updated, parking wasnât the best for two vehicles, the washer didnât seem to wash our clothes well, the water had an odor and the downstairs bathroom had an odor, cobwebs on the porches that simply should be tidied up before each visitor checks in.âŠ. Again nothing detrimental but for the price per night, the cabin could be fancied up a bit. Or drop the price. Iâve stayed in much nicer for less- those were just booked before I booked my trip.
We absolutely loved the scriptures hung up!
Good location, however, we found multiple things that should have been removed from the cabin had it been cleaned properly. My 6 year old son found a rubber vibrating ring, which I don't want to post the purpose of because of how disgusting it is to know that he was playing with it until we realized what it was. There was also a dip can and a Pepsi bottle that someone had been spitting into, found under the couch. Then when we were packing to leave we found a bag containing medical marijuana. Thank goodness the kids didn't find this. Other than this the cabin was in good shape and located in a good location. I will consider staying here again I just hope that they will make sure to have the cleaners do a more thorough job.
Everything advertised is accurate. First and foremost - this was our best family vacation ever. We are not complainers and this is meant to prepare folks for their visit here.
The location is super convenient to everything you want to do in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. It is off the beaten path but close enough for a quick (?) trip to town...hiking/rafting/ziplining/tubing/shopping/park is all within a short drive.
Be sure to go to the top of the neighborhood (by vehicle!!)...a gorgeous view of the area that rivaled our zipline views.
You can now rent UTV's locally for some adventure too.
The home is quaint, for six adults almost too small. If you plan on eating in bring plenty of supplies (adult (not infant sized) silverware, utensils, grilling tools, extra garbage bags, TP, paper towels, hand soap, etc...) There was essentially nothing there to clean up after yourself. We have rented several homes and this home was not stocked with "living" essentials we typically encountered.
Thanks for letting us VRBO this home...
Great cabin , nice location, unfortunately very dirty and under stocked.
We arenât usually complainers, we VRBO a lot and have never experienced a home /cabin as dirty as this was. It was a Great, cute and cozy cabin and in a Great location, but for the price we paid I shouldnât of had to do all the dishes before using. The pans were coated in oil and caked on food, refrigerator was not clean, cob webs were thick not just a few that maybe you would expect, heavy dust caked on decorations and blinds and dirty laundry left behind both beds from previous renters. Bedsheets were stained. It does have a great front porch with a lovely porch swing to enjoy morning coffee. Silverware was child sized so when reserving this cabin make sure to bring utensils along with anything else you would use in a kitchen setting to clean up with ( wash cloths, garbage bags, soap and paper towels.) If they would get the cleanliness under control it makes an Amazing place to stay.
The cabin is cute and well laid out for a small space. It could stand for a bit better cleaning. Had to call to get upstairs sheets changed as they were a bit dirty. Also the hot tub was dirty and we had to request a cleaning. Customer service was awesome and they got right to cleaning everything and it was perfect from there on out. Location is great. And it was fully stocked with everything we needed. Everything worked; no issues with appliances. All in all we would stay here again.
We were here for a formal event. As soon as we walked in we could smell remnants of a smoker and not the legal kind. Everything stunk. No real help from the management company. They knew about it because whoever cleaned had hung up a car air freshener from the ceiling fan. Cobwebs, dust, and just overall clutter. Filthy blinds. Dishwasher leaked and from the damaged flooring has been an ongoing issue. Mold in upper bedroom and bathroom. If you plan to sit on the commode, I hope youâre short. Unit is in desperate need of a deep clean, clean out and repairs. Will never stay here or at one of these managed properties.
Centrally located between Pigeon Forge and Wears Valley, within walking distance to a river with a waterfall, two king beds, sleeper sofa, foosball table, hot tub, covered back deck with swing and gas grill.
