Seacliff is a laid back and luxurious home for 10 in the lovely South Devon village of Shaldon. Beach and village are just five minutes' walk away. The five bedrooms and three bathrooms are stylish and spacious. The kitchen dining area is ideal for family gatherings. There's shuffleboard, table football, a PS4 and wide selection of games for indoor entertainment. Outdoors, there are three decked areas, a hot tub, wood-fired sauna, BBQs, fire pit and extensive landscaped gardens.
The space
About this space
Seacliff has a commanding position overlooking Lyme Bay â wake up to the sun rising over the sea! It sits in the pretty Devon village of Shaldon. Everything you might need is on your doorstep â beach, pubs, restaurants, coastal walks. And in the house itself you have large gardens, wood-fired sauna, hot tub for 9 with the most amazing sea views from both.
Ness Cove beach is just a 5 minute walk away, accessed through a smugglersâ tunnel, and is dog-friendly all year round. Just before the beach youâll reach the South West Coastal path.
Shaldon village centre is also just 5 minutes walk away and is a lively and thriving community with pubs, cafes, beach and a ferry to Teignmouth on the other side of the estuary.
The space
Built on an elevated site, Seacliff has wide open views to the sea and coast from front and rear. The gardens, balconies and three decked areas make the very most of the views.
The hall features a full length shuffleboard table, always popular for family games. The ground floor features the large open plan kitchen, dining for ten, living area with bifold doors opening on to a decked area at the front of the house. Here youâll also find table football. The kitchen is completely equipped for your stay â double oven and hob, fridge/freezer, wine fridge, dishwasher and all the cooking utensils you could need.
The ground floor features two bedrooms â a room for kids with bunk beds, and a king-size bedroom with balcony overlooking that stunning sea view. Those rooms share a shower room with basin and WC. Also on the ground floor is the TV room with 65in TV, PS4 and huge selection of games.
Downstairs is the utility, complete with washer, dryer, iron and ironing table.
The first floor has the remaining three bedrooms. The master has a balcony to the front of the house, walk in dressing room and spectacular bathroom with walk-in shower, bath, basin and WC. The two other bedrooms have garden and sea views and share the third bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Here youâll also find the office.
Outdoors youâll find a large landscaped rear garden with one decked area for dining and sun lounging, with two Weber BBQs. The second rear decked area enjoys the most spectacular views and features the hot tub for nine and the wood-fired sauna with glass front for those views.
There is a 7kw Tesla charger for electric vehicles.
