No.20 The Headland is set over four floors and consists of a lower-ground-floor kitchen/living area equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dining seating for eight guests, a sitting room with TV and open fire and a games room with pool table. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size, a king-size, a double and a third-floor twin with TV, serviced by a first-floor cloakroom and a ground-floor bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with patio and furniture, and parking is available. Within 0.4 miles you will find a shop, and within 0.3 miles, a pub and beach and please note this is a non-smoking property. 3 well-behaved dogs welcome. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a travel cot. No.20 The Headland is a charming base for your next getaway in Durham. There are some steep steps throughout the property which may not be suitable for guests with lower mobility. No stag, hens or similar parties allowed

In the heart of the town there is a multiplex cinema, a health and fitness centre with swimming pool and Middleton Grange shopping centre, which is the third largest in the region, with a traditional market hall. Other attractions include the HMS Tricomalee - Nelson's last fighting frigate and the Heugh Battery Museum. Seaton Carew beach and its associated demanding golf course lies two miles down the coast and a short drive brings you to Saltholme RSPB Reserve, where seals and wading birds are regularly spotted.
