The village of Pontesbury is just one mile away and offers further amenities, including takeaways and restaurants, plus Arscott Golf Club, Springlea Fishing Pools and the Pontesbury cycle/footpath. Close by is The Long Mynd, which is a haven for walkers and wildlife watchers and provides a convenient place to relax and take in the wonderful scenery on offer.
