The communication with the landlord was seamless, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, the location was convenient for walking to restaurants and shops, museums, parks, and public transportation, including a simple two block walk to grab the Hop On Hop Off bus to access places throughout Barcelona.

Everything good. No 5-star review because of 2 things: there's no air-con, which is bad for Barcelona in the summer time; and we only got 1 key for 2 people.

Another great stay at this property

This is my second time staying here and I enjoyed it as much if not more than first. If you're in town for something at Fira this is an ideal location. 25 minute walk if that's what you choose, but also on the direct bus line with many options for metro to Fira in 12 minutes without switching lines.Additionally, this area has many restaurants steps out the door also within 5 min walk. The unit is located towards the back of the building and on quiet side streets so noise isn't a problem.This is a simple property but has everything you need. Check-in/property managers are more than kind, super responsive, and very trustworthy.Great stay!

Perfectly efficient and clean apartment in a great location

It's true that the flat was not in Raval as we thought when we booked, but in fact, it is located right behind Plaza España which is so much better in my opinion. It made getting to the airport, the music festival, day trips to Sitges, and just about everything so much easier. Also, Montjuic has a lot to offer. My partner went to the free climbing tunnel, the public pool, and the Miro Foundation there. On the same street, there is a laundromat, supermarket, and cafe and the vibe is quiet and neighborhoody. I'd stay there again.

Nice apartment about an 8 minute walk to Metro There are grocery stores & restaurants nearby The washing machine looks old and rusted so we used the nearby laundry mat The shower had a broken showerhead but good hot water No hot water in the kitchen The host met us for check-in Overall a nice apartment

Decent apartment and experience

Good communication with the host and the manager of the property. Location safe and good, near metro and busses. Easy transportation from and to the airport any time of the year. The apartment has the basics to make the accommodation good. Some suggestions: 1. Have sealed and new kitchen sponge after every visit. 2. Better quality of toilet paper 3. Sealed beeld sheets would be plus so the visitor can put them on and make sure everything is clean because things can get dirty if they come in contact with the decorative pillows, blankets etc.

Beware this is not in Raval area!

The flat was fine and the area is nice. But this flat is in Montjuic near España station and not near Lieu station as stated. It is much further out of the centre of the city. I said this to the owner but he accused me of not reading the listing properly. I have read it several times and it does not say that it is in Montjuïc. So be prepared!

The lady who showed us the way in the house was unpolite. The refrigerator was not clean even the closet was dusty and the window covered. The shower was broken so u had to hold it yourself. It’s not near ramblas, it is close to placa de espana. Not as what was shown on the website. We were dissapointed by these inconveniences!

Remarks

The single bed room has a provisional camping style bed, a loose materas moving and sliding around during the sleep. The clapboard is locked and there is no space for the belongings of the visitor. The flat is advertised for three people but the single bad room is not adequate to that. The front door does not seal properly and rattles all the time disturbing sleep during the night. We used paper napkin to seal it properly. At the kitchen counter three chairs would make it useful to have breakfast there

Do Not Book!

I would rather stay in a hostile! I booked this VRBO hopping that it would be all that I was looking for but it was very far from it. The location was completely incorrect with the listing demonstrating it was in the heart of the gothic district, come to find out that when I go to the location that is posted, the host tells me to go to a completely different location which is 5 Km away. Not central at all. Once I got inside, the place seemed pretty sub par, without a running sink and many other appliances weren't working. Already frustrated I decided to take a shower hoping to start enjoying my vacation. Come to find out there is NO HOT WATER! I contacted the host immediately and they completely ghosted me. I assume its because they figured out I knew about their shady location description and knew about the water problem. I was forced to go walk 20+ minutes each way to a friends apartment to shower. Finally on top of that there was a large leak coming from the water faucet which caused the whole apartment to smell like sewage making the bathroom almost unusable, just for reference I bought a pack of n-94 masks just so I could bare using the bathroom since the smell was so strong. Onto of all that only 1 of the 3 air heaters worked so I was forced to keep a blanket on me at all times. Unfortunately VRBO doesn't let me put a link in the comment but please reach out if you'd like pictures.

Excellent

J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans l’appartement de Juanjo. L’accueil était plus que parfait, et tout le nécessaire était fourni pour un confort optimal. L’emplacement est idéal, à seulement 6 minutes à pied de la Plaça d’Espanya, ce qui facilite l’accès à tout. Tout était conforme à la description, sauf la télévision, qui aurait besoin d’avoir des chaînes activées pour pouvoir en profiter le soir. Mis à part cela, tout était impeccable. Un grand merci à eux !

Très bien placé

Appartement correspondant à l’annonce, en revanche il était assez sale, ( on a eu quelques cafards). De plus la chaleur était insoutenable. Il y avait quelques ventilateur à disposition mais malheureusement pas suffisant pour refroidir la pièce

Great bang for your buck

We had a great time with the accommodation. It was clean and also close to the national museum as well as to public transport options. We are very pleased with our stay and we would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Nice Apartment close Poble Espanyol

Estuvimos 4 días en Barcelona. Los anfitriones fueron muy educados, el apartamento estaba convenientemente limpio cuando llegamos y en una zona tranquila, a 5 minutos a pie del Poble Espanyol y a 10 minutos a pie de la Plaza de Espana donde está la estación de metro. Todo funciona cómodamente en el apartamento. Dispone de un dormitorio con cama de matrimonio y un dormitorio con cama pequeña. Perfecto para nosotros ya que éramos 3 personas. Dispone de un amplio salón con cocina con menaje más que suficiente para cocinar. La ubicación en la web de VRBO no es muy correcta ya que indica la parte antigua de la ciudad. De cualquier manera, en unos 20 minutos es posible llegar a Plaza Cataluña o las Ramblas en transporte público. Considerando su precio, comparado con otros a la misma distancia del centro, este es excelente.

Goed appartement op goede locatie

De locatie van het appartement is prima, vlakbij Plaza de España en met de bus lijn 46 vanuit vliegveld El Prat perfect te bereiken (€2,55 per ticket en in bus te betalen). Vanuit bushalte is het ongeveer nog 100 m lopen. Metrostation op ca 550 meter (L3). Het adres is anders dan op website Vrbo. Daarom daar een mindere beoordeling. De foto's kloppen wel. Over de locatie vooraf contact gehad met eigenaar. Hij geeft aan dat het hem niet lukt het adres op de Vrbo site aangepast te krijgen. Achteraf vinden wij deze locatie fijner, het is veel rustiger. Het contact met de eigenaar is super. Zijn dochter heeft ons perfect ontvangen bij het appartement zelf. We kregen uitleg en de sleutels. De appartement ligt in een rustige wijk. Het appartement heeft een nette keuken en badkamer. Water is perfect warm en flinke douchestraal. Alleen de douchekop zelf moet je wel vasthouden. Alles was schoon. En basis voorzieningen als shampoo, douchegel, keukengerei (inclusief keukenrol en zo) was aanwezig. Alle kamers hebben een raam en de 2 slaapkamers zijn donker te maken. De bedden zijn oké. De kussens vonden wij goed. Wij hebben een perfect verblijf gehad en zouden hier een volgende keer gelijk weer voor kiezen.

Simple condo but perfect for local neighborhood exposure and access to Fira

This property was exactly as described. Nothing fancy, but the price reflects that. If you are in town for any event at Fira and want to stay in a local neighborhood this is a great spot. Major metro/bus lines a block down the street, as well as plenty of restaurants/shops. If you are looking for something fancy this probably isn't for you, but if you are OK with the basics then this checks all boxes.

Top Lage und gemütliche Wohnung

Logement très bien situé, à 10 minutes du métro, dans un quartier très sympathique, avec commerces. Mais attention : la localisation sur le site n'est pas la bonne (ce n'est pas dans le quartier gothique, mais à Montjuic, plaça d'Espanya : il faut rectifier l'annonce). Logement agréable mais pas d'eau chaude dans la cuisine (et vaisselle au minimum).. et fenêtre des chambres qui donnent sur un espace intérieur avec passage de tuyaux, et non sur l'extérieur. Pas de lumière du jour, pas d'aération...
