The property is 5-minutes from both Balintore and Portmahomack, both of which have beautiful beaches and amazing scenic walks taking in spectacular views and selection of wildlife. Portmahomack also has a beautiful golf course and is home to Tarbatness Lighthouse. Balnaha Cottage is only 23-minutes from Dornoch which has a selection of local shops, cafés, restaurants and bars. There is the Royal Dornoch golf course for the golf lovers, and every Saturday evening throughout the summer the Dornoch Pipe Band play in the square.
