Enjoy an amazing holiday in our stunning seaside escape in one of the best positions on the harbour, ideal for family and friends alike, with easy access to 2 beaches, coastal paths and the water ferry to Fowey. The spectacular terrace, comfy rooms and every amenity will make this an unforgettable holiday and we’re sure you’ll love the picturesque houses and secret paths of little Polruan too.

Polruan is built on a steep hill, with colourful houses sheltering on the leeward side of a small peninsula, with the estuary as its focus. Charmingly, the street is too narrow for cars. You can drop off your stuff at the bottom of the street then there is free parking (for one car) in the village car park, otherwise £30 a week

Our family is from Wiltshire and we spent our childhood holidays in Cornwall. We have renovated Boatman's Steps over the last 2 years and we're excited to be able to share it with you.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
You’ll imagine smugglers, pirates and battleships, once visitors to this historic harbour, while watching today’s less fearsome boating activities from your chair or even your bed. Listen to waves break on the beach below your window at night and catch the sunset from your waterside perch; collect breakfast supplies or coffee from the shops and cafes after your early morning swim, just a stone’s throw from your doorstep. With nearby walks along the coastal paths to sandy bays and hidden creeks, and with 2 excellent pubs on your doorstep - you won’t need to venture much further (if at all).
If you feel like a change then take a quick trip on the ferry across the estuary to the buzzy town of Fowey where you can find something to eat at one of the many pubs, cafés or restaurants, or wander around some of the local shops and galleries. If you're feeling a bit more adventurous you can take a longer boat trip to the little harbours Polperro and Mevagissey; or head inland to the Eden project.
